From the employer
Senior Marketing Manager
Letterboxd deepens the relationships our members have with film, and with the community around them. We spark discovery, conversation and community through a trusted voice and a product that's deeply loved. We're a small team that cares deeply about film and television culture, and we want our marketing to reflect that.
The role
We're looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to plan and run our integrated marketing campaigns. You'll sit at the centre of our marketing work and connect strategy, creative, design, data science, product, content, social, CRM, partnerships and other teams to bring campaigns to life.
Your job is to keep campaigns clear, organised and moving. You'll spot gaps and dependencies early, make sure each campaign fits our strategy, and hold the creative work to a high standard. You'll also support and deliver Letterboxd's wider brand activity.
You'll report to our Business Operations Manager on an interim basis, with a dotted line to our Head of Design, and working with people across the company every day.
What you'll do
Run integrated campaigns from brief to wrap-up
- Own campaign planning and delivery from the first brief through launch and post-campaign analysis, connecting owned, earned and paid channels
- Build timelines, milestones, deliverables and launch plans
- Be the main point of contact for campaign status, priorities, decisions and next steps
Write briefs that bring out great work
- Write clear creative and marketing briefs that set out the problem, audience, insight, proposition, messaging, objectives, channels and success measures
- Lead briefings and kickoffs that get everyone behind the same goal
- Make sure teams have the context they need to do their best work
Lead cross-functional teams and delivery
- Set clear roles, responsibilities, timelines and decision-making processes
- Keep stakeholders up to date through regular status updates and working sessions
- Spot risks, blockers and dependencies early and deal with them
- Make sure messaging and assets stay consistent across every channel and touchpoint
Shape campaign ideas and strategy
- Work with Content, Product, Design, Data Science and Partnerships to develop campaign concepts and go-to-market plans
- Run brainstorms and campaign development sessions
- Bring audience insight, cultural trends, competitor activity and product knowledge into planning
- Push back on briefs and ideas when needed, so campaigns stay relevant, distinctive and tied to business goals
What you'll bring
- 5+ years in lifecycle, CRM, growth, campaign/member, partner marketing or a related field
- Experience in entertainment, media, streaming, ecommerce, consumer tech or member-focused businesses
- A track record of building and delivering global marketing strategies that drive acquisition, retention and engagement
- Experience with digital products such as apps, platforms or subscription businesses
- Experience managing complex projects across several teams and channels
- A talent for writing sharp, useful marketing and creative briefs
- Strong project management, organisation and stakeholder management skills
- Comfort using member data and metrics to shape strategy
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ease working across creative, product, growth, content, social, CRM and brand teams
- Bonus points if you already have a Letterboxd profile full of strong opinions.
