Who this fits

You'll suit a fast-changing, outcome-focused team where you build publisher relationships and solve compliance challenges instead of waiting for others. The role is fully remote within the US, but you must live in a state where Launch Potato is registered to operate. It fits someone who wants exposure across multiple verticals rather than a narrow specialty.

From the employer

WHO ARE WE?

Launch Potato is the discovery and conversion company. We reach tens of millions of people every month through our brands, including FinanceBuzz, All About Cookies, and OnlyInYourState. We turn that attention into real outcomes for our partners, some of the world's leading companies.

Our mission: create predictable, high-value customer acquisition at scale by connecting discovery, intent, and performance across category-leading consumer brands in finance, travel, and entertainment.

We run profitable and bootstrapped, with a South Florida HQ and a remote-first team across 18 countries.

WHY JOIN US?

You own outcomes here, not tasks. We measure work by impact, not activity. The pace is real, and change is constant, so the people who do best turn change into opportunity instead of waiting for it to settle. Feedback runs direct and lands with respect. Ordinary people make themselves extraordinary at Launch Potato.

This role is US remote. You will need to sit in a state where we are registered to do business, which the recruiter will confirm with you early.

Why This Seat

Our publisher book is growing faster than the team can reach it, and this seat exists to close that gap. You will carry a margin number from the start, own your accounts end to end, and ramp in weeks rather than quarters.

Room to build, not inherit. Publishers are arriving faster than we can onboard them, so the accounts you grow are ones you shaped rather than ones handed to you finished.

Multiple verticals, not one. Insurance, personal finance, and our wider partner network. Most affiliate manager seats narrow over time until you are the person who does one thing. This one is built to broaden. You start where you are strongest and pick up the rest as you go.

Our own offers behind you. You are not selling inventory a publisher has already seen from four other networks. That changes how the conversation goes.

What You'll Bring

  • Four or more years managing publishers in affiliate. Direct publisher or partner management for an advertiser or a network.
  • A margin or revenue number you personally owned. You can name it, name where it started, and name what you changed.
  • A regulated vertical. Insurance, credit, lending, health, or personal finance, and the judgment that comes with working inside real constraints.
  • You treat a no as incomplete information. When an opportunity stalls on compliance, you find out precisely what blocked it, then work both sides reshaping the partner's assets, or making the case internally where the rule allows room. You don't abandon good opportunities and you don't wait for someone else to solve them.
  • Tracking platform fluency. You are comfortable in a performance platform and you can tell when the data is lying. We use Tune, with IntegriShield and Lashback on the compliance side. If you learned somewhere else, that is fine.
  • Proactive optimization. You read the reporting, you see where a partner could scale or optimize, and you act. Spotting it is not the skill. Doing something about it is.

Nice to Have

  • Depth of relationship in insurance specifically
  • More than one regulated vertical
  • Experience across both direct publisher relationships and network distribution

What You'll Own

  • Your publishers, end to end. The relationship, the opportunities, the scaling, the results.
  • The margin on your book. You will have a number. You will know where you are against it.
  • A book that stays diversified. If one partner going quiet takes half your margin with it, the book is built wrong. Managing that risk is part of the job, not something you do once it becomes urgent.
  • Compliance, before it becomes a problem. You monitor partner traffic actively and catch the issue while it is still small, then raise it with the partner directly.
  • The relationship itself. Not just answering when a partner writes. Keeping them warm, keeping them moving, keeping them glad they work with us.
  • What you learn, shared. We have a weekly session on what is working, and people flag things in between without being asked. That exchange is how this team gets better, and it only works if everyone puts in.

What Great Looks Like

  • In 90 days, you know our offers, our platform, and your partners. You have had your first real optimization conversation with a publisher and it moved a number.
  • In 6 months, you are running your book independently and pacing against your margin target, and you have started picking up the verticals you did not arrive with.
  • In 12 months, you have driven $500,000 in incremental margin, your book survives a partner going quiet, and someone else on the team is running a play you figured out.

This Isn't the Right Seat If You

  • Want a book that is already built and a slow quarter to learn it
  • Treat compliance as a wall rather than a problem to solve internally and externally
  • Prefer to specialize narrowly and stay there
  • Margin at or below $200,000 in a single year. No direct affiliate publisher management.
