From the employer
The Opportunity
A well funded enterprise AI company is hiring its first senior sales leader for Mexico and Spanish speaking Latin America. The team has already closed its first large enterprise deals in the region and has a strong pipeline, so you’ll be scaling something that works, not starting from scratch. In your first year, success means a structured sales organization, a growing team of Account Executives, and enterprise revenue that compounds across priority verticals.
What You’ll Own
· Drive enterprise revenue across Mexico and Spanish speaking Latin America, with full ownership of regional sales strategy
· Build and lead the Account Executive team, starting with four new hires in Mexico and continued expansion next year
· Create the playbooks, sales methodology and performance standards the region runs on
· Organize the team by industry, choosing which verticals, segments and target accounts to prioritize
· Bring predictability to the business through rigorous pipeline reviews, deal reviews and accurate forecasts
· Open doors and move strategic deals forward through relationships with C level executives at large Mexican and multinational companies
· Shape regional strategy side by side with the founders, regional leadership and global sales leadership
What We’re Looking For
· Senior sales leadership experience (Head of Sales, Sales Director, VP of Sales or CRO) at an established enterprise technology or SaaS company
· A track record of selling to large enterprises in Mexico, with results driven by enterprise accounts rather than SMB or mid market
· Experience hiring, coaching and retaining a sizable team of enterprise Account Executives
· Experience putting structure in place: playbooks, vertical teams, forecasting and deal reviews
· A history of closing large, complex contracts with long sales cycles and many stakeholders
· An established network of C level decision makers in the Mexican market
· Native level Spanish and C1 or C2 English
· Comfort with a company that moves quickly and changes priorities as it grows
Nice to Have
· Experience leading sales across several Latin American countries
· Background in AI, automation, logistics, financial services, healthcare or telecommunications
· Experience selling technical products where the business case is built with operations and technology leaders
· Exposure to scale ups, or real interest in bringing enterprise discipline to a fast growing company
Details
· Location: Mexico City, hybrid with flexible office days
· Time Zone: Mexico City, with regular overlap with US based teams
· Salary: Competitive. Share your expectations when you apply
· Bonus: Variable compensation tied to results
· Type: Full time
