You will own a portfolio of messaging efforts that reflect and reinforce the company’s strategy, values, and brand—ensuring employees feel connected and informed, while shaping how we show up publicly across owned platforms and community channels.

While your primary focus will be internal communications and employee engagement, you will also lead select external communications efforts related to community engagement. This role suits an experienced communicator who can operate with autonomy: setting the plan for their channels, advising senior stakeholders on messaging, directing agency and design partners, and raising the quality of the work around them.

Job Description:

1. Internal Communications

  • Develop and manage internal communications programs and campaigns aligned with Kiss Beauty Group’s goals, culture, and values.
  • Write and edit high-visibility content for internal channels including newsletters, intranet, and Microsoft Teams, including leadership and executive messaging.
  • Advise cross-functional partners on messaging approach, and lead initiatives that strengthen culture, recognition, and employee development.
  • Own the internal editorial calendar and messaging strategy; analyze engagement data and adjust the content plan accordingly.
  • Lead content and run-of-show for company-wide meetings, cultural campaigns, and employee moments.

2. External Communications & Brand Narrative

  • Own content planning and execution for owned platforms including the corporate website, company blog, LinkedIn, and Glassdoor, ensuring alignment with brand tone and positioning.
  • Lead storytelling efforts that bring our culture, people, and impact to life for external audiences.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of employee stories, and direct their repurposing for employer branding and corporate brand building.

3. Public Affairs & Communications Support

  • Manage day-to-day corporate PR and public affairs execution, including media monitoring and analysis, press materials, and key message documents.
  • Own core communication assets (e.g., company boilerplate, executive bios, fact sheets) and manage external partners and agencies, including scope, timelines, and quality of deliverables.
  • Identify, develop, and prepare thought leadership and speaking opportunities for company leaders in coordination with the Director.
  • Monitor industry trends, AI developments, and brand-relevant news, and brief the team on implications for our communications.

4. Owned Channels & Communication Tools

  • Manage content across internal and external platforms using tools like SharePoint, Teams, and CMS tools for other company platforms and pages.
  • Own email campaigns and digital signage, from content planning through scheduling and follow-up.
  • Set and model responsible practices for generative AI across the team’s workflows—drafting, repurposing, and analysis—including quality guardrails, fact-checking, and brand voice standards.
  • Direct design partners and agencies, and maintain branded templates and standards for simple visuals and layouts.
  • Own the measurement approach for communications: define the metrics that matter, report results, and act on what they show.

5. Project Coordination & Cross-Functional Support

  • Manage campaigns and communication projects end to end, including scope, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment and approvals across stakeholders, serving as a steward of brand and tone consistency.
  • Contribute to annual and quarterly communications planning, and help evolve the team’s practices and engagement strategies.
