What You'll Do

As an Intern at KEEN (KEENtern), you’ll dive into the exciting world of footwear, innovation, and community! You’ll get hands-on experience working alongside industry experts and contribute to shaping the future of KEEN.

As a Performance Marketing Intern, you will be at the center of how KEEN shows up online, from the campaigns that inspire customers to the data that helps us make smarter decisions. You will see how a global footwear brand turns creative ideas, product stories, media investment, and customer behavior into growth.

You will help track the performance behind major product launches, seasonal moments, and digital campaigns across platforms like Google, Meta, TikTok, and more. You may uncover the next high-performing creative idea, identify an opportunity to reach new customers, or help the team understand what is driving a great day of sales. Along the way, you will collaborate with ecommerce, creative, brand, and agency partners while building real-world skills in paid media, analytics, and digital commerce.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support weekly and monthly performance reporting across paid media channels, including Google, Meta, TikTok, affiliate, programmatic, and marketplace media.
  • Analyze campaign performance using key metrics such as spend, revenue, ROAS, CPA, CPC, CTR, conversion rate, traffic, and new-customer contribution.
  • Assist with maintaining budget pacing trackers, performance dashboards, campaign calendars, and presentation materials.
  • Research consumer, competitor, audience, creative, and promotional trends to help inform campaign strategy and optimization opportunities.
  • Support creative testing by tracking results and documenting actionable learnings.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external agency teams to organize campaign inputs, product priorities, creative assets, and reporting needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university at the Junior, Senior, or Graduate level. You will also be considered if you have recently graduated from an accredited college or university.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours/week during the internship program during normal working hours (Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and be available to work in the office 5 days/week.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills, with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Interest in digital marketing, ecommerce, consumer behavior, and data-driven decision making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, pay close attention to detail, and work collaboratively in a fast paced environment.

  • A Strong Communicator: Whether it’s collaborating with a team or presenting ideas, you know how to express yourself clearly and effectively.
