The Manager- Content Strategy & Operations will lead content strategy and operations across Inspire Brands owned web and app experiences. This role establishes portfolio-wide standards and practical governance, coordinates cross-functional content planning and publishing, and uses performance data and testing to improve guest discovery, ordering progression, conversion, and brand consistency.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and improve digital content intake, prioritization, editorial planning, approval, publishing, quality assurance, and post-launch validation processes.
- Create practical playbooks, templates, guardrails, and lifecycle standards for content hierarchy, calls to action, navigation, merchandising, promotional content, freshness, reuse, localization, and archival
- Partner with Brand Marketing, Digital Retail, Product, UX, Analytics, Menu, Technology, Legal, accessibility, and delivery teams to translate business and guest needs into scalable content requirements
- Build a structured optimization practice using analytics, guest behavior, testing, and post-launch learning to identify and prioritize improvements to engagement, ordering progression, and conversion
- Coordinate with the internal SEO practice and SEO/GEO agency to translate approved strategies and content briefs into publishing plans, CMS requirements, and consistent execution across brands
- Guide CMS workflows and platform improvements, train cross-functional partners, and establish clear operating expectations across U.S. and international resources while maintaining legal, privacy, security, accessibility, and brand requirements
* This position is required onsite 4 days per week, typically Monday- Thursday
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
Required Minimum: 4 yr degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, such as Communications, Marketing, Digital Experience, Business, Information Systems, or Engineering.
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION
- 5+ years of experience in digital content strategy, content operations, ecommerce, content management, digital marketing, or a related field
- Experience leading complex content workflows and cross-functional delivery across web and/or app experiences.
- Demonstrated experience using analytics, guest behavior, testing, or conversion data to inform content recommendations and priorities
- Experience partnering with SEO specialists or agencies and working with Contentful or a similar enterprise CMS is preferred
- Experience in QSR, restaurant, hospitality, low-SKU retail, multi-brand, franchised, or comparable digital environments is preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES
- Strong understanding of content strategy, content operations, ecommerce journeys, conversion principles, and CMS governance
- Ability to translate business, brand, guest, SEO/GEO, UX, analytics, and technology inputs into clear requirements and scalable standards
- Ability to interpret content and funnel performance, identify practical opportunities, and communicate clear recommendations
- Strong collaboration, written communication, organization, attention to detail, and judgment across competing priorities
- Ability to work independently in ambiguity, establish new operating practices, influence dotted-line resources, and simplify execution across brands
