- You understand buying, planning, distribution, inventory management, analysis, negotiation, and supplier relationships

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is seeking an experienced Content Manager (Gifts & Games) to join our Wholesale Product team. This is a hybrid position in our LaVergne Office.
The Content Manager position maintains profitable vendor relations to secure applicable ICG service offerings and revenue. Identifies, analyzes, and negotiates procurement of stocked inventory

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent B2B Management experience in either publishing, wholesale retail bookselling , merchandising
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in 3 or more of the following: Team Management, Purchasing, Sales, Distribution, Inventory Management, Project Management and maintaining significant supplier relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Personal Computing skills include demonstrated intermediate level proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) to communicate effectively, analyze performance, and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Makes buying decisions on content for an assigned group of publishers/vendors and researches market trends to discover new vendors with products that complement the book industry
- Analyze and oversee product selection and vendor partnerships for a comprehensive Gifts and Games catalog that considers channels of distribution.
- Negotiates the procurement of stocked inventory and maintains profitable vendor relations.
- Provides complete vendor analysis including top and bottom vendors and SKUs, returnable and non- returnable inventory, channels of distribution, recovery on obsolescence and profitability
- Participates in strategic business review discussions based on critical analysis and makes recommendations that will drive profitability.
- Analyzes various vendor activity reports for key performance indicators and recommends the activities to ensure enhanced financial performance and profit contribution. Key performance indicators include fill rate, inventory turn, aged inventory, and sell-through.  .
- Directs vendor activities to meet strategic goals and objectives.
Hiring Salary Range: $65,224k- $82,466k. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
