Who this fits

This execution-focused role suits a hands-on specialist who enjoys owning campaign builds and delivering detailed work, rather than setting strategy. The role is based in Sydney, Australia; current ING employees are expected to have spent at least twelve months in their current role before applying, subject to possible exceptions.

From the employer

At ING, we're expanding our in-house CRM Marketing Automation team and are looking for a hands-on Marketing CRM Automation Specialist to help deliver personalised customer communications at scale. Working alongside our Targeted Marketing team, you'll be responsible for designing, building, testing and executing customer communications across email and SMS channels, while helping create sustainable, reusable templates and processes that drive efficiency and customer engagement.

This is an execution-focused role suited to someone who thrives on ownership, attention to detail, prioritisation, and getting work delivered in a fast-paced environment. You won't be setting strategy, you'll be the person bringing campaigns and communications to life.

What you'll do

  • Design, build, test and deploy personalised email and SMS communications using CRM and customer engagement platforms.
  • Create and maintain sustainable, reusable communication templates and assets that support efficient campaign delivery.
  • Manage end-to-end communication builds, including audience selection, dynamic content, data flows and campaign execution.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to translate requirements into effective customer communications.
  • Continuously improve templates, processes and platform best practices to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

What we're looking for

  • Proven HTML skills with proven experience building and maintaining email communications and marketing assets.
  • Experience using customer engagement platforms such as Braze, Zeta (preferred), Marigold, Adobe Campaign, SFMC, Marketo or similar.
  • Highly organised and delivery-focused, with the ability to own workloads, prioritise effectively and consistently execute to deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong testing, QA and problem-solving capabilities.
  • SQL and analytical skills are advantageous, with the ability to interpret campaign performance and identify improvement opportunities.

What’s in it for you?

  • Discounted ING Health Insurance
  • An additional Rest Day to support your wellbeing
  • An IMPACT day to volunteer on approved sustainability activity
