Who this fits

This role suits a hands-on event marketer who stays ahead of deadlines and works closely with sales. You’ll report to the marketing lead and contribute to work beyond events. The team works mainly remotely, with regular travel for key events.

From the employer

Infisical is the open source security infrastructure platform that engineers use for secrets management, certificates, and privileged access management. We help developers and organizations securely manage billions of secrets every month including application configuration, database credentials, certificates, and more.

We’ve raised $19M from Y Combinator, Google, and Elad Gil, and our customers include Hugging Face, OpenRouter, LG, and NVIDIA.

Join us on a mission to make security easier for all developers — starting with secrets management. We’re looking to hire exceptional talent to join us in building the open source security infrastructure stack for the AI era.

About the role

We're hiring a Field & Events Marketing Manager to own Infisical's events, both in person and online. You'll run our conference program end to end and build our webinars and partner events into a steady source of pipeline. You'll also work closely with sales before and after each event, so the people we meet turn into meetings and opportunities.

You'll report to our Marketing lead and join an agile team where your work has immediate impact and ideas are tried. While field and event marketing will be your core focus, our fast-paced environment means you'll regularly collaborate across functions, which can mean stepping in to support strategic campaigns, experiment with innovative tools, and drive growth initiatives beyond the scope of traditional event management.

What you'll do

Own our conference program

  • Decide which conferences we go to and how big we go at each one, from a small table to a custom booth

  • Own the events budget and decide where the money goes

  • Manage booth vendors, shipping, swag, staffing, and on-site logistics for events like KubeCon, RSAC, AWS re:Invent, and more

  • Plan side events around conferences, such as happy hours, dinners, and meetups

  • Cultivate strategic relationships with key event organizers to secure prime booth locations and high-visibility speaking opportunities

Run field events with sales

  • Plan and run executive dinners, roundtables, and regional events with our account executives

  • Work with sales before each event to agree on target accounts and book meetings on site

  • Run pre-event outreach so the right people know where to find us

  • Build post-event follow-up with sales and growth marketing, including sales sequences and email nurture, so the people we meet hear from us quickly and more than once

Grow our digital events and partnerships

  • Run our webinar program, from topic and speakers through promotion and follow-up

  • Source and run co-marketing webinars with partners and other developer tools in our space

  • Support our community meetups alongside our startup and ecosystem team

Work across the team

  • Work with our growth marketer on digital promotion for events

  • Work with our content marketing manager on event materials and booth content

  • Look into new tools that could make events and follow-up run better, and help us set them up

What we're looking for

  • 3-4+ years in field marketing, events, or marketing programs at a B2B SaaS company

  • Events you've run that created pipeline, and numbers you can share from them

  • Experience managing booth vendors, event budgets, and logistics across several events at once

  • You like working closely with sales and keeping both teams on the same plan

  • You keep track of vendor deadlines, shipping dates, and registration cutoffs without anyone reminding you

  • You're scrappy. If we ask you to look into a new tool or help on a campaign outside events, you'll jump into it

  • Clear, friendly communication with sales, partners, and vendors

  • Based in the US and able to travel regularly for key events

Nice to have

  • Experience marketing to developers, DevOps, platform engineering, or security teams

  • Existing relationships with organizers of developer and security conferences

  • Experience planning custom booths at large conferences

  • Familiarity with open-source communities or developer meetups

  • Hands-on experience with webinar platforms

Team, values & benefits

  • Our team brings experience from companies like Databricks, AWS, Red Hat, and more. We operate primarily as a remote team, but maintain a strong presence in San Francisco, where we have an office. We also get together in person throughout the year for off-sites, conferences, and team gatherings.

  • At Infisical, we offer competitive compensation, including both salary and equity options. Additional benefits, such as a lunch stipend and a work setup budget, are available with more details to be found on our careers page.
