From the employer
SUMMARY
As a Senior Consultant, you will work directly with SMEs, business leaders, and technical delivery teams to identify solutions, clear roadblocks, and drive measurable progress on our AI programs, coordinating planning and owning execution across multiple concurrent AI agent deployment projects. You will partner with leaders across Services to reimagine the way we do business, and you will work directly with IT and security, not just to flag roadblocks but to help remove them. All of this is in service of helping Dell and Dell Services accelerate into its future as an AI-native company. You will also build how this function operates from the ground up: the governance, reporting rhythms, and change management practices it runs on.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Act as an AI Translator for Global Services Operations: translate our needs to partner organizations such as IT, Security and other Services Groups, translate their capabilities and constraints back to us, and drive execution directly with those partners and with our own teams
Coordinate planning and execution across multiple concurrent AI agent deployment projects spanning Services Operations and the broader Services organization
Partner with leaders across the organization to reimagine how work gets done
Partner with IT and security teams to clear the technical and organizational roadblocks, including data access, infrastructure, governance, and compliance, that could slow a deployment
Establish how this function operates from the ground up: governance structures, reporting rhythms, and change management practices that can scale as the work grows
Translate technical progress into terms senior and executive stakeholders can act on, building the case for continued investment as initiatives mature
Drive progress through influence rather than authority, building alignment with leaders and teams who do not report to you
Operate with a consistently high integrity and sense of urgency, reflecting the pace at which AI capability and competitive pressure are both moving
Essential Requirements:
Typically requires 15+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor's degree, or 12+ years with a Master's degree, or 8+ years with a PhD, or equivalent experience
A track record of driving strategic progress inside large, complex organizations, with experience that spans more than a single business unit or function
Experience working with or alongside technical teams (software engineering, data science, or AI/ML) in a non-hands-on-coding capacity, with enough technical fluency to translate credibly in both directions
Demonstrated success leading through influence rather than formal authority, building alignment across functions, leaders, and teams outside your reporting line
Strong executive communication skills, including direct experience presenting to senior leadership and translating technical work into business terms
Experience standing up new governance, reporting, or operating structures, rather than only operating within existing ones
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with IT, security, and data governance teams
An exceptional sense of urgency and comfort operating in ambiguity
