What you'll do

Investigate service faults with the area lead and check whether they can be fixed remotely from the NOC or at the headend
Check DTH service and its alarms regularly, coordinating your review with the area lead

What you bring

You are studying telecom, software, electronics, systems or a related subject at a technical or university level
Intermediate English is required for this trainee role
Excel at an intermediate level is preferred; programming, networking and cloud or API knowledge are additional preferences

Who this fits

This is a trainee placement suited to someone currently pursuing technical or university studies in a relevant field. You’ll coordinate your work with the area lead and the person overseeing the pre-professional practice.

Actividades:

1. Atención y resolución de averías detectadas, en coordinación con el responsable del área, a
fin de verificar si se pueden resolver en forma remota desde el NOC o directamente en la
cabecera.
2. Revisión periódica de las alarmas y del servicio DTH, en coordinación con el responsable del
área.
3. Interacción y comunicaciones con los clientes (operadoras) cuando se requiere información
adicional para resolver alguna incidencia o requerimiento, en coordinación con el responsable
del área.
4. Propuesta de planes de mejoras en las herramientas de monitoreo para detectar alarmas.
5. Automatización de tareas manuales, en coordinación con el responsable del área.
6. Apoyo en la Identificación de equipos que no están conectados (plan de averías sin
alarmado), y mecanismos de resolución, en coordinación con el responsable del área.
7. Participación en otras actividades afines o complementarias al área de prácticas, de acuerdo
a los lineamientos del encargado de monitorear la Práctica Preprofesional.

Requisitos:
▪ Educación Técnica o Universitaria en curso de preferencia 8vo ciclo en Telecomunicaciones,
Software, Electrónica, Sistemas o afines.
▪ Competencias digitales: Conocimiento de herramientas ofimáticas (Excel nivel intermedio
deseable).
▪ Lenguajes de Programación. PHP, Java, Python, Shell script en Bash (deseable 2 de ellos).

▪ Redes (LAN/WAN, VLAN, firewalls). (Deseable).
▪ Conocimientos de solución onCloud y APIs. (Deseable).
▪ Nivel intermedio de inglés.
