From the employer

Role Summary:

Hyundai Motor Europe is looking for a Manager - Events & Media Experience Communications to take ownership of our European communication event portfolio. From product premieres and motor show press conferences to international media driving events and corporate events, you will be responsible for the moments where our brand meets the media in person.

In this role you translate communication strategy into live and digital experiences that hold together as one consistent brand story. You will lead concepts, budgets, and delivery, steer our agency and production partners, and are on site to ensure execution meets the highest standards. It is a broad, hands-on remit with visibility across the European organisation.

We want you to:

  • Own and every communication event Hyundai stages in Europe, including press conferences, media driving events, trade shows, and corporate format
  • Translate communication strategy into compelling event concepts and narratives across both static and dynamic environments
  • Manage the full event lifecycle, from concept, budget, and timeline through to execution and post-event evaluation
  • Lead press conference delivery at trade shows, including booth integration concepts, vehicle presentation, and on-site production
  • Brief and steer agencies, suppliers, and production partners to ensure high-quality delivery
  • Act as the central interface between Communications, Brand Experience, Product, and external partners
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards across all event formats
  • Shape the European event roadmap and drive continuous improvement of formats and processes

About you:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in event communications, brand experience, or PR, ideally within the automotive industry.
  • A track record of leading complex event projects across Europe, such as trade shows, media events, and press conferences, with clear ownership rather than support
  • Confident steering agencies, production partners, and cross-functional teams, with accountability for budgets and timelines
  • Solid understanding of brand experience in physical spaces, including booth design and vehicle presentation
  • Strong track record of working successfully with media, preferably on a European level.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with a strong sense for brand and narrative
  • A structured, hands-on, and solution-oriented approach in fast-paced environments where plans change at short notice
  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage

Rewards and Benefits

  • A competitive salary and benefits package
  • Flexible working hours and a hybrid working policy
  • Continued learning and professional development
  • Car sharing and lease mobility program
  • Complimentary daily lunch at our canteen and subsidized breakfast options
  • Complimentary fitness facility and the opportunity to join various sporting clubs
  • Highly international working environment
