Deliciously Parisian, The Peninsula Paris hotel is ideally located in the heart of the capital, just steps away from some of the world's most famous monuments, museums, and luxury boutiques. The iconic Haussmannian building consists of 200 luxurious rooms, including 93 suites that are among the most spectacular in the capital.
In collaboration with the wonderful team at The Peninsula Paris hotel, we are looking for a Marketing Intern starting in January 2027, for a period of 6 months.
Key accountabilities
Tactical and Operational Marketing:
- Identify communication needs and opportunities on-site (accommodation, catering, wellness) in collaboration with operational teams, and develop appropriate materials.
- Design and produce visuals and promotional materials (brochures, flyers, posters, menus, etc.) in accordance with the Peninsula Group's graphic charter.
- Participate in the design and updating of sales tools (presentations, newsletters, offers, etc.) intended for commercial and operational teams.
- Maintain and organize the hotel's photo library, ensuring the quality and relevance of available visuals.
- Monitor customer reviews on major online review platforms (Google, TripAdvisor, Expedia, etc.), and draft appropriate responses in coordination with the relevant departments.
Digital & Social Media:
- Work with the Digital Marketing and Brand Director to analyze web performance and prepare monthly and quarterly reports for hotel management and executives.
- Monitor online review platforms and social media to track media coverage of the hotel and competitor hotels, identifying best practices and improvement opportunities.
- Conduct regular competitive intelligence on e-reputation and industry trends, and communicate findings to management.
- Analyze online customer feedback and propose continuous improvement recommendations for the customer experience.
- Moderate online content and ensure the Peninsula Paris brand image is respected.
- Monitor mentions and interactions related to the hotel and its services on social media.
Content Creation:
- Participate in the organization of photo and video shoots (logistics, coordination, site preparation) in collaboration with agencies and internal teams.
- Capture internal content for communication needs (meetings, internal events, launches), and occasionally for external social media.
- Participate in the creation of editorial and visual content in line with defined editorial guidelines.
General Requirements:
- Master's student (Business School or equivalent university).
- Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Practical knowledge of Adobe suite software, particularly Photoshop and InDesign (Illustrator and Premiere Pro are a plus).
- Skills in HTML and an interest in photography are appreciated.
- Previous experience (internship) in marketing and/or luxury hospitality is a plus.
