Key Responsibilities
• Translate business priorities into a commercially focused annual marketing strategy and calendar, aligned with revenue goals, need periods and business objectives, while partnering closely with Revenue, Sales, Rooms, F & B, and Spa.
• Drive demand and revenue through integrated marketing campaigns across rooms, suites, dining, spa and key hotel experiences, using insights around pace, segmentation, ADR opportunities and performance to identify where marketing can make the greatest impact.
• Lead the hotel’s digital, content and social strategy, including website, paid media, CRM/email, search, social and emerging channels, with clear accountability for traffic, engagement, conversion, revenue and return on marketing investment.
• Protect and evolve The Peninsula brand locally, balancing global brand standards with a distinctive Los Angeles point of view. Develop compelling editorial, cultural and social storytelling that positions the hotel within the city and brings its people, experiences and personality to life.
• Build and lead a high-performing network of creative and external partners, including agencies, photographers, producers and other specialists, while overseeing creative production and supporting Food & Beverage and Spa as distinct businesses with their own audiences, identities and marketing strategies.
General Requirements
• 7+ years of marketing experience in a luxury hotel or other luxury environment such as fashion, entertainment, media, beauty, or lifestyle.
• Understands digital deeply, has excellent judgment around brand and content, is culturally curious, and knows Los Angeles beyond the traditional hospitality landscape.
• Comfortable challenging conventional hotel marketing while understanding when the strength of an established brand should be protected.
• Strong commercial instincts, with the ability to translate brand storytelling into measurable impact across revenue, guest engagement, partnerships, and programming.
• A confident, collaborative leader and storyteller who can bring together internal teams, creative partners, media, and local influencers to create distinctive and relevant experiences for the brand.
