Responsibilities:

Content strategy & planning

  • Build a content framework aligned to pipeline goals, product roadmap, distribution channels, and core messaging themes

  • Own the content calendar, coordinating around product launches, industry events, and regulatory moments (FATF, FinCEN, DORA)

  • Develop deep fluency in our buyer personas — CCOs, MLROs, BSA Officers, Heads of Risk — and craft content that speaks to their real challenges

  • Establish performance metrics and a continuous optimization loop across all content types

Thought leadership & long-form content

  • Write and commission white papers, research reports, guides, and blog posts on AML, sanctions, and fraud prevention

  • Position Hawk's perspective on emerging regulatory and technology developments

Demand generation & SEO

  • Drive organic growth through creating and commissioning SEO-led content, gated assets, web copy, video, social graphics, email nurture sequences, and ABM campaigns

  • Produce case studies, working closely with the Customer Success team

  • Partner closely with the wider marketing team to align content with pipeline goals

PR & communications

  • Work with our PR agencies to support executive communications

  • Support the production of press releases and media commentary on regulatory developments

Collaboration & external resources

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external subject matter experts to generate ideas and ensure editorial quality

  • Manage freelance writers, videographers, and agencies while maintaining brand voice and standards

  • Partner with designers to produce polished, enterprise-quality materials

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years in B2B technology content in financial services

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills

  • Excellent prioritization capabilities

  • Strong project management and deadline delivery

  • Leadership skills to manage and grow a content team
