The Head of Client Solutions Marketing Enablement & Engagement is an experienced leader overseeing a team of marketing professionals to build and execute integrated marketing strategies that drive business growth, customer engagement and brand awareness across multiple distribution channels within the Client Solutions and Wealth Management business.  

Success of the role will be largely dependent on creating a high performing and innovative team that is able to execute scalable programs that help drive growth across recruiting, advisor productivity, client engagement and retention.  

You will: 

  • Set the strategic vision and priority areas within the Engagement and Enablement team that supports Guardian’s growth agenda and strengthens the connection between enterprise strategy, field execution, and client engagement.  

  • Develop a unified and measurable strategy inclusive of field activation plans, client engagement journeys, digital experiences, performance roadmaps to best engage the Principal Owner channel by maximizing our processes and capabilities effectively.  

  • Serve as a senior voice of the field and clients by creating feedback loops with distribution leaders, Principal Owners, clients, and internal stakeholders, then translating insights into strategy, prioritization, and continuous improvement.  

  • Work collaboratively and influence senior level executives across Client Solutions and Wealth Management, Product, Compliance, Legal, Technology, Data, and Enterprise Marketing  

  • Optimize field marketing initiatives by ensuring field-facing priorities are evaluated, sequenced, and supported in a way that balances local market needs, Financial Representative effectiveness, Client Solutions objectives, and the broader Guardian enterprise agenda.  

  • Leverage customer insights and market intelligence to drive marketing strategies that support advisor productivity, client acquisition, client retention, cross-sell and deepening opportunities, stronger field adoption of enterprise priorities, and measurable growth outcomes.  

  • Identify, recommend, and champion responsible use of AI, automation, data, and enablement platforms to improve speed to market, personalization, content discoverability, campaign effectiveness, field readiness, and marketing productivity.  

  • Establish an executive-level measurement discipline across the portfolio, including adoption, engagement, campaign effectiveness, field satisfaction, client behavior, and contribution to growth objectives.  

 

You have  

  • 15+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, preferably within financial services, insurance, wealth management, or another highly regulated industry.  

  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary marketing teams across field enablement, engagement marketing, recruiting marketing, distribution marketing, client marketing, sales enablement, or related functions.  

  • A track record of working with and influencing executives to set an enterprise-level marketing strategy, and leading through matrixed organizations 

  • Strong understanding of field distribution models, advisor practice growth, recruiting funnels, client engagement journeys, campaign orchestration, digital experiences, data-driven personalization, and performance measurement.  

  • Demonstrated ability to scale modern marketing capabilities, including AI-enabled content support, automation, segmentation, lifecycle marketing, enablement platforms, analytics, and test-and-learn optimization.  

  • The ability to translate complex priorities into clear strategies, investment cases, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.  

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field; advanced degree or relevant executive-level experience preferred.  

 

Reporting Relationships  

This role will report to the Head of Marketing for the Individual Business and will lead a multi-disciplinary team that includes the Head of Engagement Marketing and supportive team, Field Enablement Marketing, and related Client Solutions marketing enablement resources. 

 

Location Requirements  

  • The primary location for this position is New York, NY or Bethlehem, PA, with flexibility for hybrid or work-from-home arrangements based on business needs and company policy.  

Travel  

  • Up to 50% travel may be required to support field leadership meetings, agency visits, recruiting events, conferences, business reviews, training sessions, and other strategic field and engagement initiatives.  

Salary Range:

$132,420.00 - $217,545.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
