The Global Energy Alliance is seeking a part-time Paid Media and Digital Fundraising Consultant to support the design, execution, and optimization of the digital fundraising and visibility strategy, with a primary focus on LinkedIn paid media, Google Ad Grants, and search engine optimization. This role will ensure consistent, high-impact engagement with priority donor audiences by translating fundraising goals into targeted campaigns, performance-driven web experiences, and data-informed optimization. The consultant will manage end-to-end campaign strategy, execution, and reporting, delivering clear insights into donor journeys, conversion performance, and return on investment to strengthen fundraising outcomes and guide future growth.

Reporting to the Digital Communications Manager, the Paid Media and Digital Fundraising Consultant will be responsible for:

Paid Social Media Fundraising (LinkedIn-First):

    • Strategy & Planning
      • Develop a paid fundraising media strategy aligned with organizational fundraising goals and priority donor segments
      • Define audience targeting, messaging frameworks, creative formats, and flighting plans
      • Recommend budget allocations and test-and-learn approaches
  • Campaign Execution
      • Build, launch, and manage LinkedIn fundraising campaigns, including:
      • Brainstorm visual content (single image, video, carousel)
      • Co-design website traffic campaigns
      • Retargeting and lookalike audience strategies
      • Collaborate with internal teams on copy, creative, and landing page alignment
  • Optimization & Performance
      • Conduct ongoing A/B testing (audiences, creative, messaging)
      • Optimize campaigns for efficiency, reach, and conversion
      • Monitor performance daily/weekly and adjust based on results

 

Google Ad Grant Management:

  • Grant Strategy & Compliance
      • Manage the organization’s Google Ad Grant account in compliance with Google policies
      • Ensure full utilization of the monthly grant budget where possible
  • Campaign Setup & Optimization
      • Structure campaigns around fundraising priorities, programs, and evergreen awareness goals
      • Optimize keywords, ads, extensions, and Quality Scores
      • Monitor CTR, conversions, and spend efficiency
  • Reporting & Improvements
      • Identify opportunities to improve conversion paths and landing page performance
      • Recommend content or technical improvements to improve ad performance

 

SEO & Website Optimization:

  • SEO Strategy
      • Conduct SEO audits to assess technical, on-page, and content performance
      • Identify priority keywords aligned with fundraising, impact, and donor intent
  • Implementation Support
      • Optimize website pages for SEO best practices (metadata, headers, internal linking)
      • Provide guidance on content creation and optimization for blogs, landing pages, and campaign pages
  • Performance Monitoring
      • Track rankings, organic traffic growth, and conversions
      • Recommend ongoing SEO improvements based on performance trends

 

Qualifications

    • Proven experience managing LinkedIn paid fundraising campaigns
    • Demonstrated success with Google Ad Grants
    • Strong understanding of SEO and digital fundraising funnels
    • Experience working with nonprofits, foundations, or mission-driven organizations
    • Data-driven approach with clear communication and reporting
