We are looking for a Senior Manager, Product Operations – Content Management & DAM who can help translate our product vision into successful adoption and sustainable day-to-day operations.
The Opportunity
The Senior Manager, Product Operations – Content Management & DAM will play a critical role in enabling the successful adoption, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise Content Management and Digital Asset Management products.
You will partner closely with Product Managers, business stakeholders, technology teams, content teams, and other cross-functional partners to translate product strategy into effective operational practices and scalable adoption.
You will serve as a bridge between product strategy and execution—ensuring users are enabled, product operations run effectively, feedback is translated into actionable improvements, and the value of our Content Management and DAM capabilities is realized across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Drive Product Enablement & Adoption: Develop and execute enablement strategies for Content Management and DAM products, including onboarding, training, communications, playbooks, office hours, and adoption programs.
Establish Product Operations: Build and manage core product operating mechanisms, including intake and prioritization, roadmap coordination, release readiness, dependency tracking, issue management, stakeholder communications, and product performance reporting.
Advance DAM & Content Management Practices: Partner with product and business teams to improve content lifecycle management, metadata, taxonomy, asset governance, search and discovery, content reuse, and publishing workflows.
Drive Operational Excellence: Define scalable processes, governance, roles, and ways of working that enable Content Management and DAM capabilities to operate effectively across teams and markets.
Lead Launch & Release Readiness: Coordinate stakeholder alignment, communications, training, documentation, change-impact assessment, launch readiness, and post-launch support for new capabilities and releases.
Measure Adoption & Value: Establish KPIs and reporting mechanisms to measure product adoption, user engagement, content reuse, operational efficiency, user satisfaction, and business value. Use these insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
Champion the Voice of the User: Build mechanisms to capture user feedback, needs, and pain points. Synthesize insights and partner with Product Managers to translate them into product enhancements and roadmap priorities.
Coordinate Across Functions: Work across Product, Engineering, Content, Data, Marketing, and business teams to manage dependencies, resolve operational challenges, and drive execution against shared priorities.
Enable Organizational Change: Support change associated with new content capabilities, processes, and ways of working, helping teams successfully transition to new tools and workflows.
Build Product Knowledge & Documentation: Maintain operating procedures, enablement materials, FAQs, release communications, playbooks, and other resources needed to support users and product teams.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, automate manual processes, improve content quality and reuse, and increase the overall effectiveness of Content Management and DAM products.
Who You Are
You are a product operations leader who enjoys working at the intersection of product strategy, technology, operations, and user experience. You are comfortable bringing structure to complex environments, connecting teams across organizational boundaries, and translating strategy into practical ways of working.
You are equally comfortable working with Product Managers on product priorities, partnering with technical teams on dependencies, and engaging directly with business users to understand their needs and drive adoption.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
5+ years of relevant professional experience in product operations, digital product management, product enablement, content operations, digital asset management, content management, or related disciplines.
Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise digital products through launch, adoption, and ongoing operations.
Experience establishing product operating models, governance, intake and prioritization processes, KPIs, and scalable ways of working.
Strong program and stakeholder management experience, with demonstrated ability to coordinate across Product, Technology, business, and operational teams.
Experience developing and executing product enablement, training, communications, adoption, or organizational change programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate user feedback, product data, and operational insights into actionable recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex topics effectively with both senior stakeholders and end users.
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a complex, cross-functional environment while managing multiple priorities and dependencies.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM), Content Management Systems (CMS), or content supply chain platforms.
Experience with platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Assets, Adobe Workfront, Veeva, or comparable enterprise content technologies.
Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, content lifecycle management, asset governance, search and discovery, and content reuse.
Experience defining or measuring product adoption, user engagement, operational efficiency, and business-value KPIs.
Experience working with globally distributed teams and supporting enterprise products across multiple business units or markets.
Experience identifying opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and emerging technologies to simplify content operations and improve user experiences.
Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or another highly regulated industry is a plus.
This position is based in South San Francisco, CA and relocation benefits are not available.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is $137,900 - $256,100 USD Annual. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
