Salary:

FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $125,000 per year as well as an unlimited commission structure. Actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Your Responsibilities:

The Sales Engineer will report to the Sales Manager and play a pivotal role in driving business growth by achieving sales targets within the South Carolina territory. This dynamic position involves selling cutting-edge fluid solutions through an extensive range of high-performance metalworking fluids and related lubricants. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive new revenue by developing and executing territory sales strategies to penetrate the metalworking and industrial lubricant markets and exceed growth targets.
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business through referrals, targeted outreach, and frequent planned sales calls, building a robust and sustainable sales pipeline.
  • Expand wallet share within accounts while prioritizing growth of new customers.
  • Promote the FUCHS value proposition by identifying customer challenges, leading product trials, delivering technical solutions, and winning conversions from competitors.
  • Maintain market and competitive intelligence while leveraging Salesforce CRM to manage opportunities, forecast results, and advance deals from prospect to close.

Qualifications we are looking for:

The successful candidate will be growth-oriented with a strong passion to win and for exceeding sales goals and targets. Additionally, we will be looking for the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business
  • At least 3 years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumable products. Experience in the Lubricants or Chemicals industries desired.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude and customer focused attitude essential.
  • Self-motivated and driven for personal and company success.
