- Lubricant sales experience in the beverage market, with beverage equipment knowledge strongly preferred
- Comfort with MS Office and CRM systems, with Salesforce preferred

Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your responsibilities:
The Key Account Manager is responsible for Specialty Key Accounts in the Food and Beverage Market Segment, and reports to and collaborates with the National Sales Manager. The Key Account Manager proactively manages the business with selected key accounts and commits to increase sales to these accounts and new accounts. Furthermore, the Key Account Manager:

Proactively develops business opportunities with existing and, especially, new key accounts.

Operates in a global network to support local Key Account Managers and to establish excellent contacts with the key accounts in partnership with the Business Segment Manager.

Coordinates the business of key accounts globally as interface between the key account and the FUCHS stakeholders, such as Product Management, R&D, Administration, Purchasing, Production, Customer Service, Logistics and Marketing.

Sets prices and negotiates terms and conditions in partnership with the Business Segment Manager.

Spends most of his time visiting customers, following up on current projects and searching for new opportunities.

Has extensive knowledge of the key account’s worldwide activities, product portfolio and applications.

Represents customer interests towards FUCHS and vice versa.

Develops alternative Service Concepts and Value Propositions for assigned Key Accounts.

Is familiar with FUCHS’ Specialty related product portfolio and its applications in the specific segments (especially Food and Beverage).

Cooperates closely with Product Management to ensure that the customer is fully informed about the products and its technical requirements.

Works in close cooperation with the Sales Teams to implement the Goals for the respective Sales Goals.
Travel

Approximately 70% travel primarily within the U.S.
Qualifications we are looking for:

Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in engineering, chemical engineering, or another related field.

Experience in Lubricant Sales to Beverage Market strongly preferred

Technical knowledge of Beverage equipment applications, experience with lubricants/specialty chemicals is a plus.

Proven experience in initiating, managing, and closing sales processes with OEM & Tier customers

Independent, highly motivated, hard worker with affinity to sales and hunter mentality.

Track record of securing new accounts and relating with new customers.

Supplementary knowledge in finance, marketing, and management.

Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in a similar sales and key account management position.

Outstanding consultative selling abilities and interpersonal skills.

Decision maker with negotiation skills, willing to work under pressure.

Proactivity and goal-orientation.

Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
