What You’ll Do
The Facilities and Sustainability Partnerships Specialist will develop and execute outreach, engagement, and communication strategies that increase awareness of and contribute to growing FoundationCCC’s cooperative purchasing programs. Serving as a proactive program ambassador, this role will cultivate relationships with community college and K-12 districts, higher education institutions, cities, counties and other public agencies, vendors, and internal partners to strengthen and expand existing programs.
The Facilities and Sustainability Partnerships Specialist will be responsible for planning and implementing targeted outreach and marketing initiatives, including promotional campaigns, newsletters, workshops, conference engagement, presentations, networking events, advisory board meetings, and professional development opportunities. This role will support FoundationCCC growth and development opportunities across all business categories, and with a specific emphasis on facilities, energy, sustainability, and climate action.
FoundationCCC as a trusted cooperative purchasing resource. This role will increase awareness, adoption, and utilization of FoundationCCC’s cooperative purchasing programs and will utilize multiple communication methods to develop new relationships. The Specialist will influence planning and strategy around the expansion of programs.,
Serve as a proactive ambassador of FoundationCCC’s cooperative purchasing programs, by cultivating collaborative relationships with vendors, community college districts, K-12 districts, institutes of higher education, cities and counties.
Establish fluency with program contracts to increase contract utilization by community college districts, K-12 districts, institutes of higher education, cities, counties and other public agencies.
Plan and execute regular outreach for partners, tracking utilization of our program(s) and identifying areas for increased partnership.
Attributes for Success
Minimum of (2) + years of progressive related work experience, at least one (1) of which is in an outreach-driven, external-facing sales, account management, or customer service environment.
Relevant BA/BS, equivalent work experience, or a combination of both
Familiarity with California’s education system, local government agencies, and/or sales a plus

Budgeted Annual Salary Pay Range:
$70,500.00 - $75,000.00Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
