Job Summary

As a Marketing Intern you will gain an understanding of our strategic direction for brand, product, content and digital marketing communications in support of the Association’s business plans and strategies. Learning how to develop and implement business-to-business marketing programs for our sales channels by focusing on customer needs and solutions. This is a great opportunity to gain in-depth experience and learn how we integrate and align programs in support of enterprise marketing strategies

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Learn about the planning and execution of marketing strategies that enhance the company’s brand image, market share growth and customer experience.
  • Understand how the company’s brand marketing effectively conveys our distinct value proposition.
  • Assist with targeted digital marketing campaigns which reach potential customers in new and impactful ways
  • Create content which guides complex customer decisions and supports our differentiated business model
  • Assist in the development, design, coordination and delivery of impactful and valuable customer education experiences/events
  • Observe our company’s brand health through market research, learn how to initiate or modify programs to ensure market-leading relevance among our competitive set.
  • Aid in researching customer experience and customer segmentation to optimize content marketing programs.
  • Assist with product advertising incorporating print, broadcast, out-of-home and digital media including paid search, paid social and digital display.
  • Observe the development of use case scenarios, planning and execution of usability testing to be leveraged in the design of interactive prototypes.

Education Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master's degree in Marketing, Business or a related field
  • Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong desire to pursue a career involving sales, marketing and territory management
  • Available for a 12-week internship during the summer
