We are recruiting a Social Media Coordinator to join our Digital Marketing team to support the execution of the Digital Marketing strategy. If you have a passion for all things homeware, all things design and you are a team player with a hunger to learn more about social media, then we are looking for you!

Job description:

  • Build and execute the social media strategy with the Digital Team through competitor research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.

  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections.

  • Data analysis on the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information

  • Work on the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube)

  • Scheduling social media posts using applications such as Hootsuite and Iconosquare.

  • Facebook Ads Manager, and familiarity with building paid social media ads.

  • Interacting with customers and dealing with customer queries on social platforms

  • Collaborate with other departments (Brand team, digital team, E-comm merchant team, customer Services, etc.)

  • A relevant university degree or college diploma in Communications, Marketing or New Media.

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in social media, marketing and or digital marketing.

  • Intermediate photoshop experience - familiar and comfortable with designing weekly artwork.

  • Exceptional communications skills: writing, editing (photo/video/text), interpersonal and presentation.

  • Detailed and customer oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability.

  • Knowledge of social marketing and good understanding of broader marketing principles.
