The Epic Communications team advances the company’s narrative and represents Epic products and the company vision to external and internal audiences globally. We create positive relationships and engagement strategies with a wide range of audiences, including media, investors, influencers, and policymakers.
COMMUNICATIONS INTERN
What You'll Do
We're looking for a Communications Intern to join the Comms and Community team. Within this team, we keep press, players, developers, and the world informed and build strong reputations for the games, tools, and tech Epic Games makes.
In this role, you will help prepare plans for new product and feature launches for the Fortnite ecosystem, Rocket League, as well as our developer platforms. As part of this, you would have the opportunity to develop messaging, research media, develop social media strategies, and report on results.
You will also play a role in shaping the operations of the team including optimizing the way we store and save information, work in Slack, and track projects.
In this role, you will
- Contribute to the development of plans and materials for news moments, including: writing messaging for different audiences, helping anticipate potential reactions and prepare for reactive questions, organizing trackers and contacts for media outreach, contributing to social media planning, and reporting on coverage, audience reception, and media feedback
- Help track Epic's day-to-day media coverage, monitor social media sentiment and run analysis, bringing insights to the team
What we're looking for

This internship has a flexible start date in 2027. Recruitment will be ongoing until teams find an ideal match.
