In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Drive sales growth within the data center market.
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with owners, operators, engineers, contractors, and channel partners.
- Build and maintain strategic customer relationships.
- Conduct direct sales calls as appropriate to drive the objectives of the business
- Maintain an active pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and business updates.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams to develop account and market growth strategies.
- Influence project specifications and position Emerson solutions early in the sales cycle.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with marketing on industry events, webinars, and demand-generation activities.
- Maintain an active pipeline and provide accurate forecasting and business updates.
- Represent Emerson at customer meetings, industry conferences, and trade events.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, a Technical Field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years business development or sales experience with consistent track record of success.
- Experience driving sales growth in a business-to-business environment.
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop sales strategies based on customer needs and market trends.
- Experience working across cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
- Requires 50 -70% travel time
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience in the data center, critical infrastructure, electrical, automation, or industrial technology markets.
- Knowledge of power distribution, thermal management, automation, networking, or related technologies.
- Experience working with consulting engineers, contractors, distributors, and end users.
- Proven success developing and growing strategic customer relationships.
- MBA or advanced business degree.
