We’re looking for undergraduate level interns to support the GCS marketing vision as a Marketing Intern. This is a fast-paced team driving the development of commercial customer solutions at American Express.

How will you make an impact in this role?

As a Global Commercial Services (GCS) Marketing Intern you will:

  • Conduct market, competitive, and customer research to uncover insights that inform creative marketing strategy and future enhancements to the customer experience
  • Analyze customer feedback and market trends to support the development of marketing content and messaging for commercial audiences.
  • Contribute ideas for marketing campaigns and customer engagement strategies designed to drive business growth and deepen customer relationships.
  • Document end-to-end marketing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and help prioritize future enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Analytics, Technology, Legal,
  • Compliance and other key stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations that communicate findings and support decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program
  • Bachelor’s degree candidates with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028

  • Proficiency in analytical and presentation tools, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to enhance research, analytics, problem solving, and productivity.
