The Hotel Marketing Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and updating content across various distributions channels for our properties. They will create and manage promotional campaigns to generate bookings, playing an essential role in achieving revenue budgets.
- Maintain and update content on online travel agents (OTAs), direct sites, wholesalers, and other distribution channels.
- Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and align with brand standards.
- Communicate with property teams to gather accurate content and updates.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns and promotions to drive bookings during need periods.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, reporting any opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for promotional campaigns.
- Analyze data and reports to better understand market trends to stay competitive.
- Assist in preparing weekly and monthly updates for assigned properties recapping current and potential marketing opportunities.
- Participate in meetings with other departments to communicate all marketing efforts and updates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and market managers.
- Communicate with revenue and inventory teams on marketing strategies.
- Communicate with the automation team to ensure rates, inventory and reservation delivery are pushed correctly for all partners.
- Maintain and update all hotel marketing spreadsheets for tracking and production purposes.
- Develop and implement marketing plans, specifically to assigned regions.
- Research and troubleshoot rate and availability issues to maintain rate parity.
- Work with brand and creative to develop assets and copy for print and digital ads.
- Draft and execute new and current wholesaler agreements.
- Represent the HGV brand in related partner events and conferences.
- Assist the management team in all requested job duties, projects, and events.

To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
- Minimum 1-year experience in a hospitality environment or similar.

- Ability to follow instructions and work within defined guidelines.
