This role is based at our corporate office in McLean, VA

This is your chance to be on our Development team who play a large part in driving Hilton's growth strategy through the addition of new hotels to our ever-growing portfolio! As a Senior Manager of Development Marketing and Communications, you will partner closely with our Development Marketing team, Sales Analysts, Corporate Marketing, and our Developers to grow our managed and franchised hotel estate. On the Development Operations team reporting to the VP of Global Development Operations, you will collaborate across disciplines to define and execute our Development Marketing strategy.

What you'll do during a typical day:

  • Lead strategy, planning, and budgeting efforts for the Development Marketing function.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to define and get buy-in for Hilton's Development Marketing strategy with a strong focus on owner needs and perspectives tied to measurable outcomes.
  • Build a collection of owner-facing materials and Developer toolkits that strengthen brand positioning and ensure sales materials are consistent, high-quality, and tailored to owner expectations.
  • Support Development teams with custom owner materials by coordinating with Brands, Commercial Services, and marketing agency partners (as applicable) to ensure alignment and impact.
  • Develop innovative and compelling ways to pitch Hilton's brands and offerings to owners - leveraging storytelling, design, and strategic messaging across web, digital platforms, collateral, videos, and other materials to strategically differentiate Hilton in a competitive landscape.
  • Lead US and Canada owner engagement efforts, including event planning, outreach, roadshows, and conference participation, to strengthen owner relationships and reinforce Hilton's value proposition.

How you'll collaborate with others:

  • Partner across internal disciplines, including Brand, Operations, Analytics, Marketing, Strategy, and Legal, to shape Development Marketing strategy.
  • Work with regional Development support leads to drive global Development marketing efforts with consistency and impact across markets.
  • Partner with vendors and outside agencies as required.

Projects you'll take ownership of:

  • Define a results-driven global B2B development marketing strategy.
  • Manage coordination with internal disciplines and coordination of marketing agency work (as applicable) for creation of compelling owner materials.
  • Create a digital strategy leveraging web, social media, and other opportunities to drive engagement, reach new owners, and effectively communicate Hilton's brand and commercial strengths.
  • Build and execute on a marketing and communications strategy to drive growth in our luxury and lifestyle portfolios.

What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Seven (7) years of professional work experience
  • Five (5) years of work experience in Hotel / Business to Business Marketing, Sales, or a creative professional environment
  • Three (3) years of experience working in the Hospitality industry
  • Expertise in visual design, storytelling, and linking strategy to outcomes

It would be useful if you have:

  • BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Experience working in a large, matrixed corporate environment

The pay range for this role is $100,000 – $145,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
