From the employer

Welcome to The Rawai Phuket LXR Hotels & Resorts

The Rawai Phuket LXR Hotels & Resorts is a new luxury hotel set to debut on the southern tip of Phuket, offering a secluded beachfront retreat with easy access to the island’s natural attractions and excursions. The 275-room hotel will further strengthen Hilton’s luxury presence in Phuket, combining a tranquil coastal setting with elevated hospitality and thoughtfully curated experiences for discerning travelers.

Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You

Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You are responsible for developing a commercial strategy covering all segments and channels to maximize total revenue and profit performance, as well as market share penetration of the hotel. As a Commercial Director, you’re not just leading commercial strategy across multiple segments and revenue streams – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

  • Own commercial strategy and execution: Develop and implement integrated commercial strategies across all revenue streams — including Group, Conference, and Events (GCE), Rooms, Food and Beverage, Leisure, and Spa — to drive top-line performance and market share growth
  • Maximize revenue and profitability: Partner with General Managers and Finance to ensure commercial decisions support revenue goals, optimize cost of sales, and deliver profit and margin targets
  • Lead pricing and forecasting strategy: Oversee revenue management practices, including pricing, rate strategies, demand forecasting, and business reviews, to optimize revenue across all segments
  • Align sales and marketing efforts: Coordinate on-property and regional sales, marketing, eCommerce, and public relations activities to support brand positioning and drive demand
  • Adapt to market dynamics: Monitor trends, assess competitive landscape, and adjust commercial strategies to stay ahead in evolving market conditions
  • Strengthen stakeholder relationships: Build trusted relationships with owners, operators, Hilton corporate teams, and external partners to align goals and create long-term commercial value
  • Cultivate a high-performing team: Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs

At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member:

A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality. Acting with Integrity and always doing the right thing. Inspiring others through Leadership. A belief that Teamwork drives the best outcomes. A sense of Ownership and accountability. And a focus on the Now, bringing urgency and discipline to every moment, knowing it can make a lasting impact.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing sales or commercial teams.
  • Strong experience in managing pre-opening luxury hotels.
  • Luxury international hotel chain experience, preferably with a strong resort background.
  • Proven experience presenting strategic plans to senior executives and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong background in cross-functional collaboration within matrixed environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data to inform strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Track record of identifying and evaluating new business opportunities.
  • Experience in multi-complex hotel or travel industry operations.
  • Cross-disciplinary exposure to Marketing, E-commerce, and Finance functions.
