Move Forward: The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Senior Marketing & Category Development Manager to join our team in Assago, Milan on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth across Italy and Spain by combining strategic brand leadership with category development expertise.
In this highly visible role, you'll partner with local commercial teams and international brand stakeholders to bring iconic brands to life in the market, shape category growth strategies, deliver impactful customer-facing initiatives and ensure the successful execution of marketing and innovation plans. You'll act as a key bridge between local market needs and international brand strategy while helping to accelerate growth across our portfolio.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop strategic and operational marketing plans for Italy and Spain in partnership with the Head of Marketing & Category Development and International Brand teams.
- Lead local market activation for assigned brands and product portfolios, ensuring effective execution across positioning, supply and commercial priorities.
- Turn market insights and consumer data into actionable growth opportunities and corrective actions.
- Shape communication strategies, develop creative briefs and collaborate with agency partners to deliver compelling campaigns.
- Act as the voice of local markets, ensuring brand strategies are effectively adapted while influencing international teams with local insights.
- Manage advertising and promotional budgets while supporting commercial and category teams across Italy and Iberia.
- Lead category reviews and innovation assessments, identifying opportunities to drive category growth.
- Build impactful customer presentations and strategic recommendations based on category, shopper and consumer insights.
