About the Role
Drug Hunter is a B2B scientific intelligence platform for biotech/pharma R&D scientists that empowers them to discover the medicines of the future. We serve most of the top global biotech & pharma companies including Dow 30 and S&P500 companies. We're a mission-driven, product-focused company backed by top-tier investors and trusted by the world's leading R&D organizations.
We are looking for a life science Director of Marketing to turn Drug Hunter's positioning into programs that move the business — product & content marketing, customer research, account-based and lifecycle campaigns, product launches, sales enablement, and the customer proof behind our claims. Reporting to the Head of Scientific Growth (Marketing), you'll work closely with our Science and Sales teams to develop new value prop messaging, and translate customer and market learnings into messaging that you put in market.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role for an experienced marketer who likes to develop new strategic initiatives and execute across existing and new channels. We need a science background or extensive experience speaking to a pharma R&D audience.

- Create compelling messaging for the Drug Hunter platform working with the Science and Sales team for targeted outbound content
- Work with the marketing team on digital channel initiatives to amplify our content and on account-based & lifecycle programs with segmented messaging
- Partner with Sales to maintain our segmented target account list, and design the approach for each segment type
Product Launch
- Develop and drive our go-to-market for new platform capabilities: audience, narrative, launch assets, and sales readiness
- Orchestrate product marketing initiatives and provide direction to all cross-functional teams involved
- Partner with Marketing leadership, Science, and Sales to land the positioning and narrative for each launch
- Establish post-launch activities to drive adoption ensuring optimized ongoing communication with current customer base
- Create reports in HubSpot to track launch success and areas for improvement on future launches
Sales Enablement
- Leverage voice of customer and voice of sales to iteratively revise sales collateral including pitch decks, one-pagers, feature decks, demo & site visit collateral, and any leave-behind content needed
- Ensure sales enablement assets are designed for reuse across reps, accounts, and/or ICPs
- Develop customer proof with the Sales and Science teams including customer stories, use cases, and user tips to provoke intrigue in the product
Messaging
- Take VOC, market learnings, voice of sales, and Science team insights to create new marketing messaging to put in market and test
- Design and execute product marketing experiments for message, CTA, format, and audience variables and define what each one is meant to prove
- Establish parameters to track, measure, and report on tests, running a steady cadence of experiments in market to create a new baseline messaging strategy for the following year
Requirements
- Advanced degree in science required (Ph.D. a plus)
- 8+ years in marketing (product, content, and/or growth marketing). Prior experience marketing to a pharma/biotech audience at a Life Science B2B company required. SaaS experience a plus.
- Exceptional writing and attention to detail. You can communicate to a technical audience and you understand why credibility is crucial in scientific marketing
- Demonstrated case study or customer story portfolio
- Experience building sales enablement assets for a considered, multi-stakeholder enterprise sale
- Comfort working directly with scientists and technical subject matter experts
- Account-based marketing experience preferred; HubSpot familiarity is a plus
