  • Feed Product persona insight, competitive gaps, and market signals into roadmap decisions
  • Run competitive intelligence, win-loss reviews, and launch processes tied to DOSS 2.0

Who this fits

You’ll suit this as a strong individual contributor who wants to build the product marketing function and values clear differentiation. From the employer

About Doss

DOSS is building an Operations Cloud for the real world.

A modern, AI-native platform for physical product businesses to manage the flow of goods, dollars, and data in real time, across:

  • Procurement

  • Inventory

  • Orders

  • Fulfillment

  • Finance

Built to replace spreadsheet chaos and rigid, consultant-heavy ERPs. Fast time-to-value, adaptable as the business evolves.

Through our Adaptive Resource Platform (ARP) and unified operational data model, teams deploy quickly, automate workflows, and make changes without months of re-implementation.

We recently raised a $55M Series B, co-led by Madrona and Premji Invest. Participation from Intuit Ventures, Theory Ventures, General Catalyst, Contrary Capital, and Pathlight VC.

DOSS is trusted by fast-growing operators to run critical operations with speed, control, and confidence.

About The Role

Consumer brands are having their moment, and the moment breaks them the second they have to scale procurement, inventory, and orders across every channel they sell through. DOSS is the operations system that lets them ramp without the spreadsheets, the 2am Slack fires, or the ERP migration nobody survives. We are growing fast, and we need a product marketer who can turn that momentum into a story the market cannot ignore.

What you will do

  • Drive pipeline by writing positioning and campaign copy that gets our ICP to recognize their own problem in our language, and act on it.

  • Increase win rate 20% by sharpening our story against the field, arming sales with battlecards and objection handling that hold up in a live deal, and surfacing customer outcomes that make the decision feel safe.

  • Reduce sales cycle 15% by giving reps the competency and discovery framing to build credibility with prospects in the first call, not the fifth.

  • Reduce CAC by partnering with Demand Gen, Brand, and Product on messaging that lands at each emotional stage of the buyer's journey, not just the top of funnel.

  • Shorten product delivery time by feeding Product persona insight, competitive gaps, and market signal early enough to build the right thing once.

  • Own competitive intelligence as a standing motion, not a single exercise. This market moves fast and our differentiation has a shelf life. You will track competitor positioning shifts and keep our wedge current.

  • Run win loss review. Systematically capture why deals close or die, and turn it into input for sales enablement and Product.

  • Own launch management: a repeatable process for shipping product and feature launches to market, with a clear owner and checklist, tied to our DOSS 2.0 launch and roadmap.

  • Build our presence in the ecosystem: communities, influencers, analysts, and partners, so DOSS is seen as core infrastructure for consumer goods inventory, not just another vendor.

What we are looking for

  • A strong individual contributor with 5+ years of product marketing experience, with real reps at the scale-up stage, you've built the function, not just staffed it.

  • Domain fluency in ERP, supply chain, or inventory management. You do not need a translator to understand our buyer's problem.

  • A track record of turning product capability into Made to Stick stories that hit a buyer's hopes and fears, not just their feature checklist. (Example of our voice)

  • Comfort working directly with Product on roadmap and capability. You are translating engineering reality into market language, in both directions.

  • A bias toward differentiation. You do not repeat what every competitor already claims; you find the ground nobody is standing on yet.

  • Someone who wants to build this in person, in San Francisco, five days a week, alongside the team.

To apply: submit a portfolio of 2 or 3 work samples that show your positioning and enablement thinking (not just finished copy; show the reasoning), plus a short writing sample. We read every portfolio looking for the one that makes us say "we have to meet whoever made this."

What You'll Get

  • Competitive salary + meaningful equity

  • 100% Coverage for individuals Premium medical, dental & vision coverage

  • 401(k), immediate eligibility

  • Lunch in-office 5 days/week (and dinner when needed)

  • Flexible/unlimited PTO

  • Commuter (BART/MUNI/CalTrain) and equipment stipends

  • Wellness & Fitness stipend

  • Generous parental leave

  • Relocation assistance available

  • In-office culture in San Francisco
