About the Role

This Communications Intern role will gain exposure in the planning and execution of communication strategies and activities, collaborating across other lines of businesses in Disney Cruise Line in the delivery of internal, executive, public affairs and public relations initiatives across Southeast Asia, India and Greater China.

The intern will provide support on the planning and implementation of a range of external and internal campaigns and will help to coordinate all aspects of operational workflows across the region to ensure they are executed effectively.

This role will report directly to Manager, Communications based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily media monitoring
  • Research and report on latest media/tourism trends relevant to Disney Cruise Line
  • Support with communications materials, including press releases, talking points, speeches and more
  • Analyse media coverage, evaluate metrics and present affinity reports such as sentiments, share of voice, etc
  • Support internal and executive engagement activities and media events
  • Actively participate and support brainstorming sessions
  • Think creatively to develop new concepts/ideas to support communications efforts
  • Support the planning and implementation of ESR programs and speaking engagements with executives
  • Liaise with vendors for invoicing and payment

Internship Requirements:

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree
  • Still an undergraduate and not yet graduated during the internship period
  • Must be available for full-time internship commitment (Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm) between January to June 2027
  • Must be available to work on-site throughout the full period of internship

  • Currently an undergraduate pursuing a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • Interest or knowledge of The Walt Disney Company’s key brands - Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic
  • Highly self-motivated and meticulous with a strong passion for communications
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a constantly evolving organizations, and to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Strong team player; possesses good interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm in collaborating in cross functional teams
  • Self-starter that needs minimal supervision
  • Ability to prioritize workload to meet competing deadlines and manage stakeholder expectations
