Who this fits
You’ll suit this internship if you enjoy campaign operations, detailed coordination, and noticing what needs follow-up. Prior influencer marketing expertise is not required. This is a part-time, onsite role in the company’s New York office, focused on operational support rather than strategy or primary client communication.
From the employer
Direct Agents is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Influencer Marketing Campaign Intern to provide hands-on campaign coordination and operational support across two major, fast-moving influencer campaigns.
This role will help keep campaign timelines, creator deliverables, content reviews, approvals, community activity, and launch dates organized and on track.
This is primarily a campaign operations, coordination, and project management support role, rather than a strategy or primary client-facing position.
The ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with detailed trackers and timelines, eager to learn influencer marketing, and able to identify when something is missing, delayed, or requires follow-up.
The campaigns will span multiple markets, creators, languages, and launch dates, so the ability to stay organized across several moving workstreams will be especially important.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $25 - $30, depending on experience
Location: This is a part-time, onsite role in our NY office
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign coordination: Maintain campaign trackers (creators, contracts, briefs, content, approvals, posting) and keep documentation/folders organized across multiple influencer campaigns and markets.
- Deadline tracking: Monitor milestones and deliverable stages (concept → script → draft → approval → posting), flagging overdue items or delays.
- Creator communication: Confirm creators have correct briefs/assets, follow up on missing materials, and log all creator communications and outstanding items.
- Content review: Do first-pass reviews of scripts and videos against brief requirements (messaging, CTAs, hashtags, disclosures), and verify revisions were properly incorporated.
- Launch support: Maintain a master timeline, confirm creators are launch-ready, and verify live posts match requirements (correct links, captions, disclosures).
- Reporting prep: Organize links/screenshots of live content for campaign reporting.
- Community management: Monitor comments/engagement on campaign posts, respond to routine comments on-brand, and escalate sensitive or reputation-related issues.
- Insight surfacing: Track audience sentiment, FAQs, and trends from community activity to share with the team.
- Cross-market coordination: Keep localized briefs/assets/creators organized, route content through proper approvals, and flag version-control issues.
- Status reporting: Give clear updates on task status (complete/outstanding/at-risk), document meeting action items, and ensure owners/deadlines are tracked.
What We're Looking For
- The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys organization, pays close attention to details, and naturally notices when something is missing, late, inconsistent, or requires follow-up.
- They do not need to already be an influencer marketing expert. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn how large-scale creator campaigns are executed and who can help the team stay organized while developing their campaign management skills.
- They should become comfortable identifying things such as:
- This creator’s content is due today and has not been submitted.
- This video is missing the required CTA.
- This creator has not completed the requested revision.
- This market may be using the wrong version of the brief.
- We are waiting on an approval that could affect the posting date.
- These creator deliverables need follow-up today.
- This live post is missing a required disclosure or hashtag.
- Several people in the comments are asking the same question.
- This community comment should be escalated rather than answered directly.
- The goal of this internship is to provide meaningful, hands-on experience supporting complex influencer campaigns while helping the team maintain organization, visibility, quality, community responsiveness, and speed of execution.
