We are seeking a highly driven Regional Lead for Public Relations to oversee public relations across foodora’s five markets. Reporting to the regional Head of Public Affairs, the successful candidate will join the foodora Communications and Public Affairs team to drive all PR strategy and execution across the brand.
Strategic Leadership:
Own and define all PR efforts on corporate, consumer, financial and organisational news, working closely with our 5 diverse markets
Develop a clear regional roadmap that aligns local market activity with global & regional brand and corporate narratives
Partner closely with commercial, policy, legal, and operations leaders to support business priorities through communication
Crisis & Reputation Management:
Provide expert counsel to leadership, local teams and the Head of Public Affairs on sensitive issues, ensuring effective responses to enhance foodora’s brand reputation
Ensure consistent, timely and effective responses that protect and strengthen foodora’s reputation
Media Relations:
Leverage strong relationships with business and technology media to elevate foodora’s industry positioning
Drive proactive storytelling that positions foodora as a leader in delivery, quick-commerce, and tech-enabled platforms
Content & Narrative Building:
Craft compelling, locally-relevant narratives that resonate with customers, merchants, riders, and partners
Adapt stories across markets, audiences, and media formats while maintaining a consistent core message
Team Development:
Lead and mentor a high-performing PR & communications team
Establish best practices and frameworks
Based on full-time employment (38.5 hours per week), we offer a gross annual salary starting from EUR 73,000 (all-inclusive), depending on your qualifications and experience.
12+ years in PR/communications, with a strong corporate and crisis communication expertise
Prior track record in multi-market/regional role is a strong plus
Established network of journalists across major business and tech media
A creative storyteller who knows how to strategically leverage news cycles and how to pivot content for different media segments
Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
