Business Function

Group Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing, and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.

Responsibilities

Support the end-to-end planning and delivery of DBS’ corporate events, brand activations, strategic engagements, and special projects. The role involves managing a wide range of internal and external initiatives, working closely with stakeholders, agencies, and vendors to deliver impactful brand experiences and events that support business objectives.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, able to see the bigger picture, and a proactive self-starter who takes ownership and drives projects independently.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Plan and execute a range of internal and external events, conferences, leadership engagements, client events, and strategic corporate initiatives.
  • Support stakeholder engagements involving senior management, external partners, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Manage end-to-end event delivery, including planning, logistics, production, stakeholder coordination, and on-site execution.
  • Ensure seamless execution from planning through post-event evaluation and follow-up.

Brand Activations

  • Support the planning and execution of brand activations, sponsorship activations, and engagement campaigns across various platforms.
  • Work with internal stakeholders and agency partners to develop and deliver brand experiences aligned with DBS' brand objectives.
  • Ensure brand consistency and quality across all activation touchpoints.

Project, Stakeholder & Vendor Management

  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, including timelines, communications, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external agencies/vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support vendor sourcing, evaluation, and appointment in line with procurement guidelines, and oversee vendor performance.
  • Track project budgets and cost estimates, ensuring compliance with governance, audit, and risk requirements.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in event management, brand activations, project management, marketing, or related fields.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight timelines.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience working with vendors, agencies, and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, procurement, and governance requirements is an advantage.
