Overview

As Senior Manager Brand Partnerships Business Development at Crocs Inc., you will support execution of global brand partnerships for both Crocs and Hey Dude brands under Crocs, Inc. This role is highly collaborative and coordinates across multiple functions. You will use effective communication & organizational skills to support the business development process as Global Brand Partnerships continues to expand for Crocs, Inc. You will report into the Sr. Director of Global Brand Partnerships, as part of the Crocs, Inc. Product Creation organization.

What You'll Do

  • Source new partners and own outreach to new partners with prominence in a range of distribution, spanning from top tier fashion brands to full family brands and licensors.
  • Pitch new brands and act on behalf of both Crocs and Hey Dude brands. Should be capable of speaking knowledgeably about each brand, consumer focuses, product priorities, and key distribution channels.
  • Acts as the main point of contact for contract negotiations on behalf of Crocs, Inc. This includes managing deal memos and completing the application process for all partners. These partners range from pinnacle brands to major licensors. The role involves working with appropriate collaborator teams to gather input and acquire approval. Must be able to think through and understand business terms and negotiation positions in order to achieve best outcome for Crocs, Inc.
  • Leads contract amendments and renewals with communication and coordination amongst internal collaborators.
  • Introduce Partner to appropriate Partnerships contacts to initiate product creation, new vendor set up, packaging requirements, etc. Responsible for communicating with regional merchandising and commercial teams as needed when Partner purchases products from Crocs to ensure a smooth process.
  • Coordinates activities related to end-of-life contract responsibilities with internal collaborators and external partners to trigger process for discounting, contract expiration, terminations, sell-offs, etc.
  • Keeps track of all contracts, royalty rates, minimum guarantee status, and termination dates (among others), in order to inform key collaborators on the progress of all partnerships.
  • Owns communications with Global and Regional leadership members and other partners about contract details and process.
  • Responsible for entire Manufacturing Agreement process for Crocs, Inc, including communication and coordination with Partner and appropriate sourcing teams for approval from start to finish.
  • Responsible for customs letter requirements for Crocs, Inc. by working with Global Trade Compliance, Legal, and Sourcing teams as necessary.

What You'll Bring to the Table

  • 8+ years professional experience, including 3+ years of applicable partnerships contract experience
  • Should be able to take direction from the business and product teams and comfortable executing based on direction.
  • Must have existing relationships in the licensing/collaborations industry (great to have connections in fashion, music/talent, and CPG brands)
  • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail and deadlines
  • Experience working with legal contracts and contract negotiations
  • Ability to balance needs and requests for multiple licensors and collaborators at one time
  • Excellent communication skills and works collaboratively across teams
  • Passionate about finding practical solutions and ready to develop new processes when needed, even beyond their scope. They do this to support the business.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and thrives with a “speed” approach
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.
