About the role
The Global Brand Manager – Face, Eyes & Lips is responsible for the end-to-end development of innovation across Bourjois core makeup segments. This role drives product creation from early ideation and concept design through to final execution, including campaign toolkit development and creative assets.
Working closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, packaging, CMI, Creative, Retail and Trade Marketing), the Brand Manager ensures the delivery of distinctive, consumer-centric innovations that strengthen Bourjois’ positioning and accelerate growth across markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Innovation Strategy & Product Development
- Lead the development of new product concepts across Face, Eyes, and Lips categories, aligned with brand strategy and growth priorities
- Translate consumer insights, trends, and competitive intelligence into compelling innovation pipelines
- Define product propositions including claims, shades, textures, formats, and price architecture
- Partner with R&D and packaging teams to ensure optimal formula performance, feasibility, and cost targets
- Manage development timelines from concept to launch, ensuring on-time delivery and quality standards
2. Project Management
- Own full project lifecycle: ideation → concept validation → development → industrialization → launch
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (R&D, supply, finance, regulatory, packaging) to drive execution
- Monitor budgets, margin objectives, and profitability targets for each project
- Ensure alignment with global and local market needs through a close collaboration with Trade Marketing
3. Campaign & Creative Development
- Lead the creation of 360° launch campaigns for new innovations, in collaboration with the internal Creative Team
- Develop strong product storytelling, messaging, and visual identity in line with Bourjois’ brand codes
- Brief and collaborate with internal and possibly external creative agencies on campaign and assets development (visuals, digital content, merchandising, ecommerce)
- Oversee the production of key assets and work closely with the digital and social content teams for implementation
- Ensure consistency and excellence across all consumer touchpoints
4. Consumer & Market Insights
- Leverage data, market trends, and consumer research to inform decision-making
- Identify emerging makeup trends, textures, ingredients, and formats relevant to mass color cosmetics
- Analyze post-launch performance, using markets feedback and insights, and derive actionable learnings for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Cosmetics Science, or related field.
- 6–10+ years of experience in beauty, cosmetics, or consumer brands, with strong exposure to makeup innovation and product development.
- Proven experience leading successful global product launches within prestige, masstige, or luxury beauty.
- Passion for beauty, artistry, fashion, and cultural trends.
- Strong understanding of cosmetic product development processes, timelines, formulation, and packaging.
- Deep knowledge of global beauty trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape.
- Exceptional project management and cross-functional leadership skills.
