Coordinating Producer, Vanity Fair Video, Los Angeles Office or New York Office



Overview:

Vanity Fair is seeking a Coordinating Producer to join its fast-paced video team. This role partners closely with the Senior Producer, Creative Producer, and Directors of Content & Development to produce, edit, and occasionally direct high-impact digital video. This role will support the production and post-production of editorial video across YouTube and social with a particular focus on editing social first content.


This role reports to Vanity Fair’s Director of Video Content Production.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support Vanity Fair’s YouTube and social video productions from pre-production through final delivery.
  • Edit short-form videos for Vanity Fair’s Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts channels.
  • Support production logistics, including call sheets, equipment, locations, and additional on-set needs.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, external production companies, crews, talent, and talent representatives.
  • Conduct research as needed for talent, projects, locations, interview subjects, and other editorial or production needs.

Requirements:


  • A minimum of 3 years experience in editing and/or production
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro

  • Experience editing for social platforms
  • A strong editorial sensibility and understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Passion for news, entertainment, culture, and Vanity Fair’s coverage areas
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed

The expected base salary range for this position is from $56,500 - $83,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
