The Marketing & Engagement Associate supports the VP Marketing & Engagement in executing Casing Junior Development’s marketing initiatives through content creation, social media, and promotional campaigns. The role focuses on strengthening CJD’s brand presence, increasing student engagement, and promoting program events and opportunities to attract and engage participants

Time Commitment

    2–3 hours/week from September 2026 – December 2026 | 4–8 hours/week from Jan 2027 – April 2027

Main Responsibilities

  • Support the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to increase awareness and participation in Casing Junior Development

  • Create promotional content, including social media graphics, videos, stories, and other digital materials

  • Assist with managing social media accounts and maintaining consistent, engaging content

  • Support promotion of CJD events, workshops, recruitment, and program initiatives

  • Brainstorm creative campaigns and engagement initiatives alongside the VP Marketing & Engagement

  • Track social media performance and engagement to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Assist with offline marketing initiatives and collaborations with other CUS services and student organizations

  • Ensure marketing materials remain consistent with CJD’s branding and rebrand direction

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms

  • Experience with Canva, Figma, Adobe, or similar design platforms is an asset

  • Interest or experience in marketing, social media, graphic design, or content creation

  • Strong written communication and creative thinking skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively, receive feedback, and meet deadlines

  • Willingness to learn and take initiative

  • Commitment to Casing Junior Development and its success

Anticipated Learning Outcomes

    The Marketing & Engagement Associate will gain hands-on experience executing marketing campaigns and building a recognizable student-facing brand. Working closely with the VP Marketing & Engagement, the Associate will have opportunities to develop skills in social media management, graphic design and content creation, campaign planning and execution, brand management, audience engagement, marketing analytics, and professional communication. The Associate will also build a portfolio of marketing content and gain experience contributing to the growth and rebrand of Casing Junior Development.
