We’re looking for an Event Marketing Manager to join our Events team to build and execute the marketing strategy behind our event presence — driving awareness, attendance, and engagement before, during, and after every show, and measuring the return on it.
You’ll report to the Manager, Events and work from our Plano, TX or Santa Ana, CA office. Remote or hybrid candidates will also be considered. We believe that there is significant value in in-person collaboration. If you live within a 1 hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be required to be onsite most of the time. This will be discussed further as part of the recruiting process.
What You’ll Do:
Create pre-event, live-event, and post-event marketing strategies for each show.
Manage campaign timelines tied to hard event deadlines.
Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, show organizers, and cross-functional teams to promote services and special promotions for each show.
Apply audience segmentation and community engagement to reach the right collectors and hobby audiences.
Plan around onsite execution realities, including signage deadlines, print production, installation schedules, and attendee flow.
Measure KPIs such as engagement, lead generation, traffic, conversion, event attendance, and ROI.
Collect data and apply it to marketing strategy.
Report regularly on methods and results for customer acquisition and retention post show.
Lead by example and be a champion of all company policies, including safety, attendance & security
Who You Are:
Experienced supporting conventions, trade shows, festivals, sports/collectibles events, gaming events, or experiential activations.
At least 2-3 years’ experience working in a marketing agency.
Experienced using CRM platforms and project management software.
Comfortable working in fast-paced onsite environments with shifting priorities.
Calm under pressure and able to pivot quickly.
Collaborative with other departments and self-directed.
Photography, video, or social capture experience is a bonus but not required.
A valid, unexpired passport is required to apply for this position.
Salary Range:
The salary range for this position is $110k - $180k. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details.
