Who this fits

You’ll suit a hands-on senior marketer who can move between executive narratives and detailed technical or use-case content. The role favors someone comfortable working with engineers, technical experts, customers, Product Marketing, Demand, Sales, and Revenue Operations. It is an onsite full-time position in San Francisco.

From the employer

We are an applied AI lab building end-to-end software agents.

We're the makers of Devin, the first AI software engineer.

Our team is extremely talent-dense. Among our founding team, we have world-class competitive programmers, former founders, and leaders from companies at the cutting edge of AI including Scale AI, Palantir, Cursor, Waymo, Tesla, Lunchclub, Modal, Google DeepMind, and Nuro.

Building Devin is just the first step—our hardest challenges still lie ahead. If you’re excited to solve some of the world’s biggest problems and build AI that can reason on real-world tasks, apply to join us.

The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on marketer to turn Cognition’s differentiated technology and customer impact into enterprise campaigns that drive pipeline and sales.

You’ll create content and experiences that influence every key stakeholder in an enterprise purchase—from engineering champions and technical evaluators to executive sponsors and economic buyers. Your work will help customers understand what’s possible, evaluate our technology, build the business case, and move confidently toward adoption.

You’ll own campaigns from idea through execution and promotion, bringing together the right message, format, audience, and channels. This role combines strong storytelling, commercial judgment, and the ability to ship quickly.

What You’ll Do

  • Build integrated campaigns around our most important themes. Partner with Product Marketing to translate Cognition’s positioning, key messaging, and differentiation into campaigns that create demand and advance enterprise deals.

  • Create content across the buying journey. Develop ebooks, research, webinars, demo experiences, practical templates and guides, workshops, business-case tools, and other formats that help buyers move from initial interest through evaluation and purchase.

  • Reach the full buying group. Address the distinct priorities of engineering leaders, developers, IT and security stakeholders, and business executives—with the right depth, evidence, and next step for each audience.

  • Make campaigns relevant across verticals. Translate broad themes into industry-specific use cases, challenges, and customer outcomes, partnering with Enterprise Demand and Sales on priority segments and accounts.

  • Own the promotion strategy. Build distribution into every campaign from the start. Coordinate paid, email, web, social, partner, field, and sales activation with the teams responsible for each channel.

  • Bring technical differentiation to life. Work with Product Marketing, engineers, technical experts, and customers to turn complex capabilities into credible stories and demonstrations of enterprise impact.

  • Execute from brief to launch. Own campaign plans, content development, production, timelines, and follow-up. Write and build directly, bringing in internal experts and external resources where needed.

  • Optimize for pipeline and revenue. Partner with Revenue Operations and Sales to measure buying-group engagement, qualified pipeline, opportunity progression, and sales outcomes. Use those insights to improve the next campaign.

What Success Looks Like

Your campaigns consistently reach the right buyers, make Cognition’s differentiation tangible, and help Sales create and win enterprise opportunities. You build a repeatable approach to turning our strongest ideas, product capabilities, and customer evidence into programs that produce measurable commercial results.

You Should Be

  • A track record of building and executing integrated campaigns for enterprise B2B technology buyers.

  • Strong content development and writing skills, with examples of work you personally took from concept to launch.

  • Experience connecting content, distribution, and sales follow-up to measurable pipeline outcomes.

  • An understanding of complex enterprise buying groups and how their information needs change throughout a deal.

  • The ability to move between an executive business narrative and detailed product or use-case content.

  • Strong project ownership: you can coordinate multiple contributors, make decisions, and ship high-quality work quickly.

  • A practical approach to experimentation, including using AI tools to accelerate research, production, and iteration.

Bonus Points

  • Experience marketing developer tools, AI, infrastructure, or other technical enterprise products.

  • Comfort creating technical content and partnering closely with engineers or solutions teams.

  • Experience building vertical campaigns, technical webinars, demo-led programs, or content that supports active enterprise opportunities.
