About the role
codeNinja is looking for a highly creative and experienced Freelance Senior Graphic Designer for a three-month engagement. You'll raise the quality, consistency and presentation of brand and marketing materials across internal and external communications.
This isn't just about producing one-off designs. The goal is to leave behind a practical, scalable design system and a library of reusable, easy-to-edit marketing assets that teams can use long after the engagement ends.
You'll work closely with the Marketing & PR team and report to the Marketing & PR Manager.
What you'll do
Brand guidelines & visual identity
- Review existing brand guidelines and how they're currently applied
- Identify inconsistencies and refine the use of typography, color, imagery, icons, layouts and graphic elements
- Create practical guidance for applying the brand across digital and corporate communications
Corporate & marketing templates
- Build a library of editable templates: PowerPoint master and presentation layouts, internal and HR communications, departmental announcements, memos, event invitations, partnership/MOU announcements, executive communications, and infographic/statistics layouts
- Make sure every template is easy for non-designers to edit and fully on-brand
Social media design system
- Create reusable formats for LinkedIn, X and Instagram
- Cover announcements, thought leadership, products and services, events, partnerships, employee highlights, quotes, statistics and educational content
- Establish a recognizable, consistent visual language across all channels
Corporate portfolio redesign
- Fully redesign the company portfolio with stronger visual hierarchy and storytelling
- Improve layouts, typography, imagery, infographics, product/service pages and case study layouts
- Deliver a polished portfolio suitable for clients, partners, executives and events
Newsletters & email design
- Design a flexible newsletter system (corporate, internal, product updates, events, leadership messages, success stories) with multiple layout options
- Create branded email templates for announcements, HR, leadership, events, invitations, news and engagement campaigns
Video & motion graphics
- Design and edit short-form corporate videos: showreels, product, social, event and leadership videos
- Build a reusable video toolkit: logo animations, intros/outros, lower thirds, title cards, transitions, subtitles and captions
Digital & screen assets
- Design desktop wallpapers, screensavers, office and event screens, digital signage, and meeting/Teams backgrounds
What you'll deliver
A complete Marketing & Brand Design Toolkit, including enhanced brand guidelines, template libraries, social and newsletter systems, email templates, a redesigned portfolio, video and motion assets, an icon and graphic library, and organized master source files with clear folder structure and naming conventions.
Requirements
- Strong portfolio in corporate branding and marketing design (portfolio link required)
- Experience with corporate, technology, financial services or professional-services brands
- Advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Strong PowerPoint design skills
- Proven experience building scalable template systems
- Solid understanding of digital and social media design
- Video editing and motion graphics capability
- Excellent typography, layout, visual storytelling and information design
- Able to work independently, respond quickly and juggle multiple requests and priorities
- Comfortable attending regular progress and creative reviews, maintaining a request and delivery tracker, and following agreed approval processes
- Committed to confidentiality and to handing over all editable source files at the end of the engagement
