YOUR ROLE
As part of your studies, you are currently looking for an end-of-studies internship (Bac+5 / business school or engineering school).
You will join the Project Cargo Division, which handles out-of-gauge (OOG) and heavy-lift / break bulk (BB) cargo across a group of lines and trades. Reporting to the Project Desk Manager and working closely with Line management, you will help develop special transportation projects and roll out the division’s commercial and pricing strategies.
You will work with all Group entities to ensure projects run smoothly end to end, from the customer’s request to operational execution. This internship offers immersion in a niche, high-expertise business at the crossroads of commerce, operations and engineering.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Pricing & commercial policy: You will help build and implement the trade and pricing policy for the oversized and heavy-lift segment. You will relay market information and strategic recommendations daily to the Lines at Head Office, to optimize the trades (revenues, volumes, market shares, volume/weight balance per TEU).
- Studies & quotations: You will take part in technical and operational studies for OOG and BB projects, in quotations and in building commercial offers.
- End-to-end project follow-up: You will follow projects from the customer’s request through operational execution. You will support coordination between stakeholders (sales, vessel operations, port terminals, surveyors, customers, etc.) and the monitoring of cargo operations.
- Business development & agent network: You will support the agent network in promoting our services, follow the development of the Project Cargo customer portfolio and help prepare negotiations with strategic customers.
- Analysis & reporting: You will produce market analyses and performance indicators, contribute to the yearly budget and business plan, and take part in the division’s transformation and innovation projects.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

- An interest in pricing, vessel operations or stowage planning is appreciated
- Languages: Fluent English required.
- Personal qualities: Customer-oriented, with strong interpersonal and coordination skills; persuasive, rigorous and drawn to complex projects.
