Summary:
Who you are:
We're looking for a hands-on, curious Senior Solution Consultant to build enterprise solutions on Clio Operate for some of the largest law firms in North America. You love turning requirements into working software: you configure workflows, forms and business rules, and you take pride in getting the detail right. You're comfortable in front of customers, explaining what you've built and why, and you'd rather solve a problem than pass it on. You may not have worked in legal tech before, and that's fine: you pick up new platforms quickly and enjoy doing it. Above all, you're a helpful, collaborative teammate.
What your team does:
The Clio Operate Solution Consultant team is part of Clio Enterprise Professional Services. We configure and deliver Clio Operate, our low-code case and matter management platform, for mid-market and enterprise law firms. We work hand-in-hand with our Solution Architects, who lead discovery and define requirements, and with Project Managers and developers to take customers from signed contract to go-live. We're a small, friendly team across the UK, North America and Australia, and you'll be one of our first Solution Consultants based in the US.
What you'll work on:
- Building Clio Operate solutions from requirements defined by our Solution Architects, including matter types, workflows, forms, document templates and business rules;
- Joining discovery and design sessions early, so you understand what the customer needs and can advise on how best to build it;
- Presenting and demoing your build to customers, and taking their feedback through playbacks and user acceptance testing;
- Fixing defects and configuration issues raised during testing and after go-live, and supporting our Support team when needed;
- Managing your build work across several projects at a time, keeping to agreed scope and deadlines;
- Working closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers and developers across time zones to deliver projects smoothly;
- Flagging scope changes and risks early to your Project Manager;
- Sharing knowledge and helping improve how we build, including using AI tools
What you bring:
- Experience in a technical consulting, implementation or solution consultant role at a software company;
- Hands-on experience configuring or building solutions in a software platform, such as workflows, forms or business rules, ideally on a low-code platform;
- Confidence working directly with customers and explaining technical ideas in plain language;
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to turn requirements into a practical, well-built solution;
- Strong organization and attention to detail when juggling several projects;
- A collaborative, helpful approach and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working in or with law firms, or in legal technology;
- Experience with case or matter management, CRM or document automation software;
- Experience with Salesforce, PSA tools, APIs or scripting;
- Experience delivering enterprise software projects for mid-market or large customers.
