Your Impact
As a Communications Specialist, you will be a central part of the ASEAN communications efforts. You won’t just support programs; you will lead defined initiatives to support the regional business priorities by translating global business goals into local, high-impact stories and driving employee engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to act as a trusted advisor to regional executives, shape our external reputation, and work alongside the broader APJC team to deliver world-class communication outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated internal and external communication strategies that align with ASEAN business priorities and global themes, using storytelling to bring narratives to life.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior ASEAN and Asia Pacific leadership, providing counsel on positioning, media engagement, and reputation management.
- Build and maintain relationships with regional media, and support agency management to ensure high-quality output against defined KPIs.
- Translate technical concepts into compelling, accessible narratives for diverse audiences, including media, customers, and employees.
- Proactively identify emerging reputational risks and support the development of risk mitigation strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in corporate communications, PR agencies, or media-related businesses.
- Experience supporting B2B technology communications or managing integrated campaigns.
- Experience coordinating with agency partners on content execution and performance against KPIs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Established media relationships within the ASEAN market
- Strong editorial and writing skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas into clear messaging.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust with stakeholders and collaborate across a matrixed organization.
- Experience using data and measurement tools to track campaign performance and inform strategy.
