Reporting to a Manager, Public Affairs & Communication, and working closely with the broader Public Affairs team, you will primarily support CAMH corporate communications and editorial priorities focused on CAMH’s Queen Street Campus redevelopment. You write compelling and entertaining copy on tight deadlines. You have experience in story planning, interviewing, and fact checking. You take good photos and edit them well. You can whip together imagery, decks, and video edits with ease, and build strong pitches that turn into innovative and engaging content.

You are organized and have well-developed project management and research skills. You have worked in a complex organization undergoing change, and you have successfully supported change management through effective internal communication strategies.

You have experience supporting communications for complex and long-running construction or infrastructure projects and have your finger on the pulse of communications and marketing creativity and best practices in this sector.

You know your way around an event plan and can identify potential issues before they turn into problems.

Post-secondary education in communications, journalism, public relations or other related areas combined with a minimum of 3 years professional experience in journalism, corporate, agency, or public sector workplaces.

You will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements.
