From the employer

At Catawiki, every day brings the extraordinary! Whether it’s Daniel Ricciardo’s Formula 1 Car, a Woolly Mammoth’s Skeleton, Lady Gaga's Jumpsuit or Usain Bolt’s running shoe, we encounter exceptional objects every day.

We’re a one-of-a-kind marketplace for buying and selling special objects. Each week, more than 100,000 unique items are auctioned, all carefully curated by our passionate in-house experts.

Having sold over 25 million unique objects, our mission is to become the world’s most popular destination for special objects. As a growing, diverse and sustainable scale-up, we proudly live by three core values. If these values resonate with you, we’d love to explore how you can join us.

  • Taking ownership and driving impact
  • Being open to change and feedback
  • Being passionate about our mission and our customers.

What You Will Do

As a Campaigns & Activations Specialist, you will own development and delivery of campaigns that engage our buyers and sellers, create demand and support Catawiki’s wider marketing and business priorities. You will take campaigns from idea to evaluation, working closely with the Campaign & Activations Manager and cross-functional teams to turn opportunities into high-impact customer moments.

  • Own end-to-end campaigns: Develop, plan, launch and evaluate campaigns and activations across the Catawiki marketplace, from recurring moments such as No Reserve Days to new initiatives.
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table: Monitor market trends, cultural moments, category developments and competitor activity to identify new formats, themes and opportunities worth testing.
  • Measure, optimise and scale: Define success metrics, monitor performance and turn results into clear learnings and recommendations. Use these insights to improve future activations and scale the formats that deliver the strongest business impact.
  • Shape integrated campaign plans: Partner with CRM, Creative, Merchandising, PR, Paid Media and other channel teams to build cohesive customer journeys and ensure the right message reaches the right audience.
  • Drive cross-functional delivery: Bring stakeholders together around clear objectives, timelines and responsibilities. Keep campaigns moving, resolve day-to-day blockers and ensure teams are aligned throughout delivery.
  • Improve how we work: Help strengthen campaign planning, briefing, reporting and retrospective processes, making each campaign more effective than the last.

Who You Are

  • A campaign owner and strong executor: You enjoy taking an opportunity or a rough idea and turning it into a well-structured campaign from concept to launch that delivers results.
  • Commercially minded and customer-focused: You can identify opportunities that create value for both the business and our buyers and sellers, and translate them into strong activation plans.
  • Insight-led and data driven: You are comfortable using data and customer insights to inform decisions, assess performance and make a clear recommendation on what to do next.
  • Channel-savvy: You understand how different marketing channels work together, from CRM and onsite to social, paid media and PR, and can shape an integrated campaign plan.
  • Collaborative and proactive: You work effectively across teams, communicate clearly and enjoy working in close partnership with others to move work forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced in marketing: You have 3–5 years’ experience in campaign, growth, brand or (digital) marketing, ideally in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
  • An early AI adopter: You already use AI tools in your daily work to move faster, think broader and improve the quality of your output. You are eager to learn, automate and develop new ways of working through AI.
