The Category Growth Managers are responsible for building the overall growth strategy for an assigned category to support the business’ success. They will set long term revenue targets, identify and execute key growth levers with relevant stakeholders and is the owner of their category’s P&L. This role requires close partnerships with various stakeholders across the company to ensure our product assortment continues to scale sustainably and serve customers’ needs in all our markets.
What you’ll be doing
- Own annual Category P&L and enhancing category profitability.
- Own Category 3-Year strategy and roadmap planning for revenue growth including category target setting, identifying and implementing necessary growth levers, setting overall category assortment direction.
- Lead seasonal product development strategy in line with 3-Year roadmap (inclusive of range expansion/discontinuation, approval of new product margin & forecast) with Category and Demand Planning teams.
- Direct go-to-market strategy for each seasonal launch, ensuring new product introductions are well-supported and achieve targets.
- Monthly category Open-To-Buy, review sales/inventory health and identify opportunities to improve sales completion.
- Quarterly category forecast review to align mid-long term category trend and performance to revenue targets with relevant business stakeholders.
- Quarterly consolidation and prioritization of customer and product feedback, utilizing these insights to inform future new product development.
What you’ll need
- 5-7 years of experience in category growth/category management for a leading retail or ecommerce company, preferably in a similar product category.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing category strategies that drive growth.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
