About the Role:
Cantina is looking for a Head of Content to build the content operation that brings Cantina Labs to life across 75+ niche content areas. Cantina Labs lets everyday people make high-production-value, character-driven videos with no special technical skills.
You’ll recruit and lead a network of 100 content producers and video editors making great social content at serious volume. You’ll pitch the concept, write the brief, make the first version, and bring in the people who can take it much further.
What You’ll Do:
Define our multichannel social content strategy, with a particular focus on viral content on X and formats built for each additional platform.
Turn new features and core product use cases into launches, tutorials, showcases, recurring series, and content people share because it’s entertaining.
Build a content program across 75+ niches: find the right creators, understand the audience, develop the formats, and keep the work specific to each community.
Recruit and manage a team of 100 content producers and video editors, supported by strong creative leads, clear briefs, and a production system that keeps everyone moving.
Stay hands-on: pitch ideas daily, write scripts and briefs, make example videos, and jump into edits when something needs a stronger hook or a better ending.
Build workflows for AI generation, editing, motion graphics, review, publishing, and rapid iteration.
Partner with product to showcase new capabilities and bring creator feedback into product development.
Track reach, retention, shares, product visits, signups, and activation to learn what gets attention and what gets people creating.
What You’ll Bring:
Experience building and running high-output social content teams and managing multiple accounts with 100,000+ followers.
Ability to recruit and manage a large (20+ person) creator operation.
A track record of viral content, especially on X, and an understanding of the platform’s culture and how video, copy, and conversation work together.
Excellent taste: you can spot a great concept early and explain exactly why an almost-good piece isn’t there yet.
Strong writing and storytelling skills across briefs, scripts, social copy, and educational content.
Hands-on experience with video editing, motion graphics, and AI-native production workflows.
The ability to work across very different niches without making everything sound or look the same.
Operational discipline around production calendars, review cycles, creator feedback, and publishing cadence.
